Black Friday Brings Fights, Stabbings Across America

Today is “Black Friday” which is supposed to mark the beginning of the joyous season of Christmas and mega sales that go with the day after Thanksgiving shopping.

But routinely it brings out the thug element too. Authorities in rural southwest Virginia say a dispute in a parking lot crowded with holiday shoppers turned violent, with one throwing a punch and another responded by cutting the man with a knife and brandishing a rifle.

Both men were charged Thursday night after the altercation outside a Wal-Mart in Tazewell County that sent panicked shoppers scattering.

In a Chicago suburb, a shoplifting suspect dragged a cop across the parking lot of a Kohls Store. The commotion began about 10 p.m. when police were alerted to a theft in progress at the store, Romeoville Police Chief Mark Turvey said. Police officers waited outside the store and soon saw two men bringing a shopping cart out of the store toward the Sunfire, police and witnesses said.

One of the suspects ran toward the Sunfire, police said. An officer caught up with him but the suspect “closed the car door on the officer’s arm, not allowing the officer to disengage from the vehicle,” police said in a statement. “The driver then drove away, dragging the officer with the vehicle.

In Charlotte, a man with a cell phone caught a fight on his camera and said he was thrown out of Walmart for making the video. Here is the video.

WalMart theft gets man life in prison for stealing $4 package of socks

What started as shoplifting and turned into an armed robbery when the suspect revealed a handgun to a loss-prevention officer has resulted in a mandatory sentence of life in prison for a Daytona Beach man, reports the Orlando Sentinel.

A jury deliberated for about an hour April 14 before finding Dean Rockmore, 48, guilty of robbery with a firearm, assistant State Attorney Chris Kelly said. On Friday, Circuit Judge Margaret Hudson found that Rockmore qualified as a prison releasee re-offender and handed down the life sentence, Kelly said.

Rockmore was released from prison Jan. 26, 2009, and committed the robbery about two months later on March 29, according to court documents.

An employee at the DeLand Walmart saw Rockmore place packages of tee shirts and socks into the front of his pants and stopped him, reports show. Rockmore ran when customers came between him and the worker, and he was chased into the parking lot.

Rockmore dropped the shirts, but he got away with a $4 package of socks after the Walmart employee backed off when Rockmore lifted his shirt to show a gun, police said.

Lindsay Lohan a Kleptomaniac, Steals Rolex Watch

funny lindsay lohan passed out drunk bong beers

Its pretty clear that Lindsay Lohan is completely off her rocker crazy nutso insane. I have seen the shows on TV where she hoards things in her house. She spends like a maniac and her exploits with drugs and alcohol are pretty well known.

So, faced with a choice, I think that now would be a good time to start believing Lohan’s father, Michael Lohan when he says that she needs help.

We have all seen Lohan go from being a cute kid to a drunken lesbian. Its pretty clear that like Britney Spears, Lohan is surrounded with a bunch of people sucking off of her money that will not say no to any of Lohan’s demented requests.

Accused kleptomaniac Lindsay Lohan has reportedly been named as “a suspect” in the theft of a $35,000 Rolex watch, authorities said.

The pricey watch belongs to one of Lohan’s “friends” who accidentally left it at the “Mean Girls” star’s Los Angeles house earlier this year and never got it back, TMZ.com reported today.

Sources said cops have “photographic evidence” which could prove Lohan, 23, knows where the Rolex went.

TMZ reported that cops went to Lohan’s pad Wednesday to question the actress about the watch.

Lohan, through her lawyer, denied any involvement in the theft. “The allegations are completely untrue,” said her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley.

No arrests have been made in the theft.

Lohan, who has reportedly been battling credit card debt has her acting career continues to falter, has been accused of having sticky fingers in the past.

Last year, Lohan was one of a group of people questioned by Scotland Yard after jewelry worth $400,000 went missing after a magazine photo shoot in London.

The diamond necklace and earrings were modelled by Lohan during the Elle photo shoot at Big Sky Studios outside London.

The jewelry, which was lent to the magazine by fashion house Dior for the day on June 6, was reported missing two days later.

Lohan was never arrested and the case was never solved.

In 2008, Lohan was accused of swiping — and later returning — a mink coat from a Columbia University co-ed.

Maria “Masha” Markova claimed in a civil lawsuit filed in Manhattan that Lohan swiped her blond jacket “without claim of authority, privilege or right” at 1Oak nightclub in January 2008.

Markova, a model, thought the $11,000 gift from her grandmother was lost forever, until she saw Lohan — who was at the same party at 1Oak that early morning — weeks later wearing a blond mink.

Markova said she had put her fur coat in a common bin at 1Oak, which was closed for a private birthday bash. After Markova called the club to complain and her lawyer reached out to Lohan’s attorneys, the coat was mysteriously returned on Feb. 14 with no explanation or apology.

The case was later settled for an undisclosed amount.

Lohan is also no stranger to law enforcement for other reasons.

In May 2007, she was busted after cocaine was found in her car after she’d gotten into an accident. She went to rehab for 45 days.

Two months later, Lohan she was again caught with coke and served one day behind bars and put on probation for three years.
