Watching “Gene Simmons Family Jewels” with Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed, I have noticed an alarming change in Shannon’s relationship with Gene and seems to look for reasons to attack Gene on every level.

The back story here is Gene is the way Gene is and is very proud of what he has created for his family. This creation is Gene Simmons Enterprises. Gene is exactly what he claims to be. A self made man.

I used to listen to Howard Stern when Stern was on terrestrial radio and Simmons was a frequent guest. Gene was full of shameless plugs about different business ventures he was involved with. In fact Howard used to goof on him for always plugging away.

This is Gene Simmons. The guy has worked tirelessly making a very nice lifestyle for Shannon and his children and many other family members in Israel and New York.

So Gene isn’t the best father and husband, but Shannon doesn’t complain when shes out spending 28,000.00 on a friggin couch. She doesn’t complain when she spends thirty grand on clothes.

She can do this because of the hard work Gene does promoting his show, his band, his chotchkies and all the other crap he sells to make their life better.

Talk about an ungrateful woman. I understand that this is all for the drama of the show, but I think a bit of it is real and playing out on television for all to see.

There is an explanation for Shannon’s behavior. Its the chink in the armor of every woman the way being castrated is the chink of every man.

Menopause. Some women have a problem even saying the word menopause. They call it “The Change” in order not to have to say the word.

Hey Gene, been down the menopause trail with my mom ( I was the youngest of four ) and my ex-wife.

Something happens when women go into menopause. Its like they are pregnant and on their period at the same time. Oh, and it lasts for years. Sorry bro.

It gets worse. You know how a lot of women look at PMS as an excuse to attack everyone around them? Well they do the same thing when their doctor tells them that they are menopausal.

They attack and lash out at their men, then instead of apologizing, they blame it on the hormones.

So get ready Gene, it gets much worse from here. But look at the bright side. When its over you get an old wrinkled and fat wife that grows a mustache and sideburns and has no sex drive whatsoever. JD
