I have maintained that “Dog” The Bounty Hunter and his wife Beth are a couple of white trash nimrods that have turned their lunacy into a career with their stupid show. Their kids are stupid and if they came at me with mace and a paint gun they would be met with a shotgun.

I cannot believe that anyone would watch this mindless drivel. Its stupid and these people would be living in a mobile home in Tennessee if it weren’t for their leppo show.

You are so old Duane (nice redneck name) that the fossilization process what begun on that walking cadaver you call a body. Your wife is a lard ass with zeppelin like breasts that are primarily made of lard. Your son is a tool with his dopey white trash redneck ponytail.

Mesa County Sheriff Stan Hilkey criticized Wednesday’s surprise delivery to the Mesa County Jail of a pepper-sprayed fugitive by Duane “Dog” Chapman, likening the television bounty hunter’s work to “genuine profit-driven peacockery.”

“I’m sure that versions vary, but what was clear was a physical confrontation (took place) between the ‘skip’ and Dog himself,” Hilkey wrote Wednesday night on a blog, which is kept by the sheriff. “During the scuffle the skip was pepper-sprayed excessively and Dog conveniently had his tear-away shirt ripped off, all the time the action cameras were rolling and everyone was salivating in the drama … “

Andrew Distel, 29, whose last known address was 775 Kennedy Ave., was brought to the jail by Chapman and his wife, Beth, both of whom showed up in a pair of black, sport utility vehicles around 12:15 p.m. in the Sheriff’s Department’s parking lot.

Police radio reports around 12:25 p.m. said a 29-year-old man had been sprayed with mace by a bounty hunter. It wasn’t clear where it happened, nor the circumstances. Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Heather Benjamin said it didn’t happen inside the lobby area of the jail, although doors at the two public entrances remained opened several hours after the Chapmans had left. A fan circulated air on one side.

Benjamin said they were attempting to remove remnants of the pepper spray left behind from the clothing of Distel and Chapman.

Richard Gonzalez, in the parking lot on unrelated business, said he pulled up in his vehicle and saw a man outside of the building handcuffed, flanked by the bounty hunter and Grand Junction Fire Department medical personnel.

“He was pretty scuffed up … like he’d been in a fight,” Gonzalez said of Distel.

The Sheriff’s Department was not investigating the circumstances surrounding why Distel was sprayed, Benjamin said.

In his blog post, Hilkey said he was troubled by the actions of Chapman’s team, which occurred while Chapman himself was still outside, “waving his golden locks for the camera.”

A pepper-sprayed Distel was exposed to other members of the public who were also in the lobby, Hilkey said.

“If someone is pepper-sprayed in the field, they should have an ambulance called to decontaminate the most acute problems of being sprayed,” the sheriff wrote. “Eyes flushed, nose and mouth checked for proper breathing, etc., and immediately affected clothing removed to keep from further contamination.”

Hilkey continued, “So without any regard for contaminating the other citizens in the lobby of the sheriff’s office, or the employees of the sheriff’s office, they just march this injured, contaminated mess in and expect us to jump and ask for an autograph???”

According to Hilkey’s account, jail staff instructed Chapman to have Distel medically cleared and cleaned before Distel was to be accepted at the jail.

That, he said, happened only after Grand Junction Fire Department personnel were called by “someone,” Hilkey said.

“Not before, however, Mrs. Dog (Beth Chapman) attempted to lay a big ol’ guilt trip on our staff about ‘releasing’ their catch and educating us about what our judges would think of us … There’s no special pass for their celebrity status here.”

Benjamin said Wednesday that Distel declined medical attention.

Mesa County court records show Distel had warrants out for his arrest alleging failure to appear on two felony cases, both involving possession of methamphetamine. Bonds totaled slightly more than $25,000.

Dean Hergenrader, a bondsman with AA Bail Bonds in Montrose, said Distel was Chapman’s lone local target, and Chapman and his group were expected to leave Grand Junction on Wednesday night.

The star of the A&E television program “Dog The Bounty Hunter,” Duane Chapman and his entourage have made at least three visits to the Grand Valley since September 2008, each time accompanied by their film crew recording the happenings.
