Mel Gibson under investigation for domestic violence

The L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept. has opened a domestic violence investigation and TMZ has learned the probe is in connection with Mel Gibson’s alleged attack against his baby mama Oksana Grigorieva.

Sources tell TMZ the alleged incidents occurred in Malibu in both January and February of this year. We’re told it’s a “spousal abuse” investigation and the alleged victim is Oksana. Sources tell TMZ Sheriff’s deputies interviewed Oksana on Monday.

The Sheriff’s Dept. has released a statement claiming investigators are “currently gathering information regarding the allegations.”

Christian Marcus Verdin Held for Jogger Attack in Malibu

A man suspected of assaulting a woman, who jumped off a Malibu cliff and slid down a 200-foot embankment to escape, was arrested Friday in San Bernardino, authorities said.

Christian Marcus Verdin, 31, was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and robbery, said Steve Whitmore, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The woman had just finished jogging about noon March 12 above Point Dume State Beach when the assailant grabbed her from behind. She struggled with the man before breaking free and jumping over the beachfront cliff, Whitmore said.

“She fought off her attacker by literally jumping over the cliff and sliding down 200 feet to the beach,” Whitmore said.

The suspect’s arrest stemmed from DNA evidence gathered by investigators, Whitmore said.

The victim was treated for cuts and bruises that she suffered while sliding down the cliff.

Jogger jumps off Malibu cliff to flee attacker

jogger who escaped by jumping off a cliff and sliding about 100 feet down a steep hillside.

Los Angeles County sheriff’s Sgt. Derek Sabatini says the woman was taken to a hospital Friday with cuts and bruises from the fall in Malibu.

She told deputies she had finished a run at about noon at Point Dume State Beach and was standing at the edge of a cliff when she was grabbed from behind. She says she and the man struggled for several minutes before she was able to break away. That’s when the woman ran and jumped off the cliff.

Authorities have released a composite sketch of a man who savagely attacked the woman who was jogging in Zuma Canyon and stole her vehicle.

Deputies say the suspect then escaped in the woman’s Toyota Land Cruiser.

Officials say the stolen Land Cruiser has California “Yosemite” plates, with license plate number 6CHF554.

The Edge of U2 to Build Massive House in Malibu

Is it just me or does this guy they call the Edge (AKA David Evans) look better without that stupid beanie? He is one of those guys that can pull off the bald look. Have you ever seen him in a business suit and that stupid beanie? He looks like a buffoon. Is the Edge afraid that his brain will ooze from his ears if he doesn’t wear his little beanie?I don’t get it. I have about as much hair as him and with the exception of incredibly cold weather, which we rarely have here in So Cali, I never wear a hat, especially to social functions. Lose the skull protector Edge. You look okay without it.

As far as your big dopey home on the sea overlooking Malibu, piss on those environmental nut sacks. They are just pissed because they cannot afford to live like that. I would build a mansion up there that uses a coal burning furnace and uses sewer water for the yard. JD
