Juan Williams NPR Debacle is Embarrassment to Liberal Cause

Out here in Los Angeles, NPR or National Public Radio, which has maybe three people that actually listen and would be off the air if it were not publicly funded, have placed billboards along side the freeway that say “No Slant, No Rant.”

I found this rather funny, because anyone that knows anything about politics knows that NPR is the most liberally biased station on the dial. After tuning in yesterday to listen for a bit, I found myself compelled to drive my car off a cliff in an attempt to stop the monotony of what I was hearing.

The host of the news program I was listening to spoke in a monotone with little inflection, as if to make their version of the news as politically correct as possible.

The host made not one mention of that has been dominating the mainstream media for the last few weeks, the political bloodbath that is about to decimate the liberal cause in Washington.

Like most liberals, Apparently NPR believes that it they close their eyes and click their collective heals together three times and whisper “There’s no place like Cuba” that the problems within their socialist party will disappear.

This brings me to Juan Williams. Everything I said in the beginning of this article was said to point out that once again we have a group of liberals that will not tolerate honesty and speaking the truth.

Williams, while on “The O’Reilly Factor” with Bill O’Reilly, said “I mean, look, Bill, I’m not a bigot. You know the kind of books I’ve written about the civil rights movement in this country. But when I get on the plane, I got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they are identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous.”

A pertinent question to anyone that thinks that what Juan Williams said on O’Reilly was somehow offensive would be this. When you are walking down a street and you see a group of gang members walking toward you, do you get nervous and cross to the other side of the street?

NPR is so busy pushing their politically correct cause that they want us to believe that people don’t get nervous when they get on an airplane and a few guys wearing Muslim garb get on the plane. This is preposterous.

The irony here is that radical Muslim TERRORISTS are the very people that struck this fear into the American psyche in the first place. That’s what terror is all about. Its the same reason that for years I have been saying that gang members here in America are nothing more than domestic terrorists.

These people use their actions to strike fear into those around them. Its their actions that make them terrorists. The only thing Juan Williams is guilty of is admitting that it worked on Juan Williams.

NPR like PBS is a dying community of socialist hippies that will wither on the vine and when the funding from the taxpayer dries up the people that work there will go back to living in alleys like they used to do. Here in Los Angeles, KPCC , the local NPR station doesn’t even get listed on Arbitron, the radio ratings company, because no one listens to it.

Its amazing to me that Juan Williams would even do NPR the favor of being on their stations in the first place.

The reality is that NPR probably did Juan Williams a favor. I would bet money that Fox radio will hire Williams and pay him real money so he doesn’t need to supplement his income by appearing on FoxNews.

Williams is a true patriot that happens to be a liberal. Liberals across America need to realize that not all people subscribe to their group think mentality. I have always enjoyed his incite and candor on FoxNews. Keep up the good work Juan. JD
