Top Republican Accuses White House of hiding info on Fort Hood attack

obamadclown_01_01Its pretty obvious that Obama doesn’t know what he is doing and seemingly only cares about advancing his socialist agenda.   If you think about it,  Obama couldn’t even make it through his first year before America was attacked by terrorists.   Perhaps this is why Obama doesn’t want Americans to know the truth about Nidal Hasan.   I

would bet there are a lot more people like Hasan here in America and like time bombs,  they are waiting to go off.  Waiting for their oppotunity to strike.    When the dust settles,  we will find out that the Obama administration knew about Hasan and did nothing about it because they didn’t want to offend anyone.    JD

The ranking Republican on the House intelligence committee on Tuesday night accused the White House of withholding information on the Fort Hood attack.

Rep. Pete Hoekstra (Mich.) said administration officials delayed briefing members of Congress about the alleged gunman, raising “red flags” about what the White House was hiding.

“When they withhold information, you always start asking questions,” Hoekstra told Fox News. “That’s what raises red flags. What do they know that they don’t want us to know?”

Hoekstra linked President Barack Obama’s handling of Fort Hood to a chain of other GOP criticisms of the president, including the administration’s treatment of detainees and an investigation into possible CIA abuse.

“It is a political correctness that is making it unable for us to identify the real threat of homegrown terrorism,” he alleged.

Hoekstra warned that “we have similar Hasans” in the country. The Michigan Republican has called for his committee to investigate the incident. Chairman Silvestre Reyes (D-Texas) has so far declined, preferring to wait for the conclusion of the joint FBI-Army investigation.Obama has ordered a review of all intelligence on Hasan.

Fort Hood Suspect May Have Suffered From ‘Compassion Fatigue,’ Experts Say

Major_HasanThis story has to be a joke,right?  Are they seriously trying to convince Americans that Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan was just tired of hearing soldiers stories about returning from wars and finally snapped?    No . . .   sorry.  I didn’t just fall off of the turnip truck.   I guess we are all supposed to believe that his religious beliefs had nothing to so with this.   Geez,  the media reported today that before the shootings,  Hasan was seen wandering about preaching and handing out copies of the Koran.   Only in America can a terrorist join the military and kill U.S. soldiers.     JD

Health experts say they are hardly astonished that the suspect in the worst mass murder ever at a U.S. military base is an Army psychiatrist — the very person who is supposed to be helping soldiers deal with the traumatic stress of war.

Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, suspected of gunning down 13 and wounding 30 at the Fort Hood Army Post in Texas, treated soldiers at the Darnall Army Medical Center there after being transferred in July from the Walter Reed Army Medical Center, where he had worked for six years.

Dr. Robin Kerner, an attending psychologist who specializes in disaster anxiety at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital in New York City, said it’s not uncommon for individuals who work with traumatized patients to suffer the effects of “compassion fatigue.”

“This guy was counseling people coming back from war and there is something called secondary traumatization, where the therapist gets traumatized from hearing all the terrible things that have happened to the people they counsel,” Kerner told FoxNews.com.

The problem, she said, is that when this happens, many mental health professionals do not properly take care of themselves.

“There are a lot of things professionals who are working with trauma patients need to do in terms of self-care so as not to get traumatized themselves,” she said. “Oftentimes, workers are so focused on helping others that they neglect to take care of themselves. The bottom line — we don’t take our own advice.”
