KISSIMMEE, Fla. — Authorities say an electrician working at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex died after being seriously injured.

Authorities say 50-year-old Steven Snyder was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at a hospital Friday.

Witnesses told deputies that the Davenport man worked for Buena Vista Construction Company.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has been notified and authorities are investigating.

A Disney spokeswoman said the company is grieving with the man’s family, friends and co-workers and extend their deepest sympathies to them. She said Disney is working closely with authorities to gather facts.
