For all of the people who do not know who Mr. Clark Mahoney is.

I have known Mr. Mahoney for over 4 years already. He was my daughters teacher during Third grade and since then, they have been invited to the "Gifted and Taleneted Education Program G.A.T.E. Where Mr. Mahoney was the co-ordinator.

Mr. Mahoney was the most responsible and loyal teacher/friend one could have he goes beyond the definition of trustworthy and his generosity towards his fellow teachers and students is an example for everynoe to follow. He was such a great source of education to our children and a great source of education and inspiration for us the parents as well. It is sad to say he was. I have heard few bad comments about him and I have heard so many great comments about him. It is very obvious that the people who have made bad comments about him dont even know him. Parents who are confused Please get involved for the sake of your children. Get to know your kids and the people who are close to your kids before you judge someone. Remember that a teacher is in charge of your child during class and therefore they have to dicipline your children to. No one likes dicipline and for a kid is really easy to make up a story and get someone in trouble really easy. get to knoy your children, have a lot of communication with them at all times. Get involved in there education. It is sad that Mr. Mahoney has to go through what his going through. I dont know a lot of details about about the case but in my mind I have no doubt that he is innocent we pray to God for his well being. The system is in place and at the end we have no doubt that he is going to be found innocent of what he has being accussed of. and when this happen we pray to God that The school district, the police, the court, the newspapers and the internet do whatever is neccessary to restore his reputation. He is a great man.

Seriuosly, Really, Whomever you are before you make such statement why don't you get the facts first. Of course a mediocre student would never know how the after school program works, and dont give me "he invited girls to stay or he preferred girls over boys." I also have heard such statement several times. This is the thing. Before you even get an invitation to the after school program you have to have outstanding notes. Then you get invited and if there where more girls at such program is because girls are more intelligent. I have two of my daughters and they both attend the after school program you know why, Because they go every day to school because they have the best notes, because they are intelligent, because they have a father and a mother who care and get involved. Now let me ask you did you take advantage of all of the opportunities school offered you? Maybe, maybe not,. or at least it doesn't show on your statement. Although most republicans are trying to distant themselves from this fringe they have a long way to go. I guess Ashburn is the first on the list “2010 Republican Summer of Love”. Remember last year list of “2009 Republican Summer of Love”: state assemblyman, Michael D. Duvall (CA), Senator John Ensign (NV), Senator Paul Stanley (TN), Governor Mark Stanford (SC), SC Board of Ed Chair, Kristin Maguire (AKA Bridget Keeney). Dr. Rank is the best doctor I have ever had. He is the only doctor that actually cares and listens and researches when necessary and treats accordingly. If it wasn't for the doc, I'd be in a wheelchair by now.
It is travesty what happened to Misty… she is such a sweet girl. I can't imagine what made him snap. He was really helping her through alot and she always told me that she considered him like a father.

I agree with Robert! Regardless if it was rape or not….the fact of the matter is: these girls were violated!! How dare you say, "close your legs." That is so demeaning and contributes to victim blaming…..this happens all the time, where girls get blamed!

The charges were probably "dropped" by these girls because of intimidation, self-blame, and the thought of having to re-live the situation of having to go through trial.

I understand there are always two sides to every story. However, we do know that these girls were 14 years old, offered alcohol….they were, likely, attracted to this guy and probably were not expecting to be violated in such a way. It is truly disgusting that this guy prey's on 14 year old girls….which reaks INSECURITY! I'm sure the girls his age are turned off by his ego and self-absorption.

This guy is a true snake. I went to high school with him and I still see him around my same social circle here and there. Only a few months ago this a-hole showed up at a club with girls that couldn't even get in and it was an 18+ club. Don't try to tell me this sleezy SOB isn't a sexual predator. He's so "I'm the man" and I know some girls buy into that but it's not ok to violate young girls when they aren't mature enough to make a responsible decisions on the subject. you're going to feel really bad when he IS proven guilty because he already got caught in a few lies with the cops. I have noticed this issue on my website. It used to be that when I posted an article, it was placed in the index in the order that it was posted, meaning that if it were the 10th article posted it stayed in the index in the 10th spot.

Now, I post an article and I get hits from it for ten minutes, and then they stop. As an experiment, I posted an article and watched it placed into Google's index at the top. Within five minutes it was moved 15 pages into index obscurity.

I then started using Google Adsense and placed ads on my unfettered sight. Within a month my articles started staying on the first few pages of the index. Now they are always in the top twenty searches for a few days at a time.

If this is not manipulating their search results, I don't know what is.

What part of "innocent till proven guilty" do you not understand??

It is YOU who should be ashamed for your rush to judgment! In fact, if not guilty, or if he was arrested on trumped up charges, you have no clue as to whether he may have been one of the best for your community.

I am sick of the media trying people, putting out all the negative they can find, and then, when someone is finally released or exonerated, offering far less exposure for it. Then, rather than apologizing, they take a stance of, "Yes, but he MIGHT be found guilty IN THE FUTURE, so we'll treat it that way."

Is this how you expect actually innocent people to be treated? I look forward to your being arrested for something you didn't do and then explaining that. I hope your own parents would likewise "be ashamed."

It was for people like Gardner that '' The Three Strikes law '' was made for not for pizza thieves or petty offenders! But I guess the public doesn't get it. Instead of using taxpayer dollars to police and survey sex offenders and have more room in the prisons for such offenders, tax dollars are being used to warehouse petty offenders under the three strikes law because it keeps the pockets of the prison guards, the district attorneys, the police, and the entire judicial system full. Heck, it's easy bread and butter for them. Now we know what our tax dollars is being used for and why we're in a deficit. We the people must protest to have ''THE THREE STRIKES LAW'' amended so there would be more than enough tax dollars left to put away people like Gardner and violent offenders as it was originally intended for and not to be making a profit off those whom are victemized, thier families, the taxpayers, and petty offenders.

Gardner was also supposed to be evaluated by two State psychologist under the '' Sexual Violent Predator's Act of 1995'', enacted by the legislature in Sacramento, to determine if he was a ''Mentally Sexaul Offender'' and sent back to court instead of being paroled for the District Attorney to file for probable cause to have Gardner committed for ''Treatment''. But the media nor the public is speaking out on that issue. Chelsea's family deserves to know why/ Or does it just apply to mainly Blacks and Hispanics? I hope that my comment will be looked into. However, with the growing economic crisis in California, it is critical to prioritize. Facing massive unemployment, increasing taxation, endless deficits, and a credit rate comparable to Libya’s, there is absolutely no time nor place for wasting taxpayers’ money and valuable time entertaining bills that do not offer real solutions to the problems of our state.
With a clear demonstration of self-serving interests and priorities out of place, State Assemblyman Anthony Portantino, representative of the 44th District, co-authored the “Cuss-free week” measure to score political points. Had State Assemblyman Portantino taken the time to show genuine concern for the problems of the state, he also would have noticed the environment of uncertainty about the future that small business owners and workers feel and face. However, this should not come as a surprise. His record supporting legislation in favor of more taxation for Californian families and against the business community speaks for itself.
I believe our state needs strong leadership in Sacramento; leaders who are willing to concentrate their efforts to develop strategies that address the main issues affecting California. Our legislature needs to focus more on measures that promote job creation and rescue our state from the brink of bankruptcy and less on self-serving politics.
If we really want to give a voice to our students, we need to begin by offering them a better future in the state with real possibilities for success.

Anyway, you know how many people are sex offenders? And some for stupid charges that happened when they were 18 or 19 or 20 or they got convicted based on false identification and lies. "God" gave the ability of forgiveness for a reason… So yeah bust him… if he's guilty and then if you want him dead I say the only people with any right to kill him are the victims immediate family.

I am sick over this.My Neice went to school with both of the missing girls from Poway. My neice went home from the park the day before this happened and reported to my sister that a really creepy guy was watching her in the park and started towards her. She ran away and made it home safely.When she got home she gave a description that matches this monster to a T.When my Sister called the next morning to report the incident she was sent from one agency to another for 45 minutes until someone finally took the report.This man should have never left the prison system.It is very rare that child predators are ever rehabilitated it just gets worse taking more violence to satisfy the sickness they have in their brain.I understand that everyone deserves a fair trial but he already had that and was put away.We as a community are the ones that suffer for the crimes they commit not them.Now another family is sufferng at the hands of this guy.
