Michelle Obama Wants To Regulate ‘Dog Diets’

michelle-obama-not-happyThis has to be some sort of sick joke, right? Michelle Obama is serious about this? Good God our country truly is doomed if dog diets are what that nitwit Michelle Obama and her dopey husband are concerned with at this point in American history.

I have news for you Michelle. Your concern should be how your husband Barack Obama will be remembered through history, not what our dogs eat.

Our economy is in the toilet more than four years now. Unemployment at its current rate of assent, won’t Bush numbers for 100 years. Our taxes and inflation are out of control, and your concern is what our dogs are eating?

Never mind. I am calling it right now. Obama will be remembered as the biggest failure in American history. JD

During her Google Hangout today, First Lady Michelle Obama reminded the audience that dogs need a proper diet and exercise, just like children do.

The First Lady admitted that President Obama liked to tease their own dog, “Bo” for being lazy, but that they encouraged her girls to take him on walks.

“Dogs are no different,” Michelle Obama explained to a woman on the chat. “You want to make sure they are eating a balanced diet, and if they are not an active dog, make sure that their food is reflective of an inactive dog and then get them out there and throw that ball and get them running.”

The First Lady added that it was important to “worry about every member of our family.”

Woman Gets 4 Speeding Tickets In One Day

The 49-year-old woman who received no fewer than four speeding tickets last week after flying down on I-90 as fast as 112 mph has been identified.

Loretta Lacy, of Sioux Falls, S.D., was heading to Racine, Wis. and trying to make it in time for her granddaughter’s formal dance that evening.

Lacy was first stopped in Martin County at 2:25 p.m. after authorities received multiple complaints of her speeding, and weaving in and out of traffic. She was ticketed for speeding (she passed the trooper at 112 mph), no insurance and possession of marijuana.

Just 20 miles later, though she did slow down to 99 mph, she was again ticketed for speeding and no proof of insurance. At this point, Minnesota and Wisconsin State Patrols were advised, and on the lookout.

About 70 minutes later, Lacy was ticketed traveling at 88 mph in Freeborn County for speeding and no insurance.

The fourth and final ticket came before she entered Wisconsin, as she was going 88 mph in a 70 mph zone.

State Patrol Lieutenant Eric Roeske said all of her offenses are petty misdemeanors, so jailing Lacy wasn’t an option.

New Orleans Former Mayor Ray Nagin Indicted In Corruption Scheme

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn’t this the same Ray Nagin that called GW Bush a racist for not sending billions in federal aid to New Orleans mere days after Hurricane Katina hit the region?

Ray Nagin, with the help of the politically motivated American media, made George Bush out to be a blithering idiot and a racist for not springing into action and sending money and supplies to New Orleans after a major hurricane, Yet months after Hurricane Sandy Obama has not received any adverse criticism from the very same media for doing nothing about aid for Hurricane Sandy.

Ray Nagin, former New Orleans mayor and the public face of the battered city in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, has been indicted by a grand jury on 21 federal corruption charges.

The indictment, released Friday, alleges Nagin awarded lucrative city contracts to

contractors in exchange for more than $200,000 in kickbacks and first-class trips to Hawaii, Jamaica and Las Vegas.

Nagin, 56, served two four-year terms as mayor, from 2002 to 2010, and currently lives in Frisco, Tex., outside Dallas. If convicted on all charges, he faces more than 15 years in prison. Nagin becomes the first mayor in the city’s 295-year history to be indicted under federal corruption charges.

Nagin could not be reached at phone numbers listed at his Frisco address. He’s due in federal court Jan. 31 to be arraigned by a federal magistrate.

“This is a sad day for the city of New Orleans,” current Mayor Mitch Landrieu said in a statement. “Today’s indictment of former Mayor Ray Nagin alleges serious violations of the public’s trust. Public corruption cannot and will not be tolerated.”

The charges stem from a City Hall corruption investigation that already has resulted in

guilty pleas by two former city officials and two businessmen.

The indictment alleges that, between 2005 and 2008, Nagin:

- Accepted more than $70,000 in bribes from a consultant who later won more than a

dozen public works contracts with the city.

- Received paid lodging and vacation expenses for himself and his family in Hawaii and was flown first-class to Jamaica by a city contractor.

- Accepted a free private jet trip to Chicago and Las Vegas from another contractor.

- Enriched his New Orleans-based family granite supply company through dealings with the city.

“This indictment should serve as a reminder to current and former public officials that … the FBI pursues corruption even after an official leaves office,” said Michael Anderson, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s New Orleans Field Office.

New Orleanians will be most angered by the fact that Nagin’s alleged corrupt activities were taking place as the city struggled to rebuild from the worst catastrophe in city history, said Terrence Fitzmorris, a Tulane University history professor.

“It’s a betrayal,” Fitzmorris said. “He’s doing this while the city was at its lowest point.”

A former cable television executive, Nagin was swept into office in 2002 with promises of transforming the city through business savvy and corruption fighting.

Hurricane Katrina in 2005 thrust him into the national spotlight, where he often lambasted federal agencies for not doing enough in the storm’s aftermath but was also criticized for a perception of not doing enough as a leader in time of crisis.

In January 2006, he apologized for a Martin Luther King Day speech in which he predicted New Orleans would be a “chocolate city” and asserted that “God was mad at America.”

Strong support from black voters helped Nagin win re-election in 2006 despite mounting criticism of his post-Katrina leadership. But the glacial pace of rebuilding, a surge in violent crime and the budding City Hall corruption investigation chipped away at Nagin’s popularity during his second term.

Nagin could not seek a third consecutive term because of term limits. Mitch Landrieu, who ran against Nagin in 2006, succeeded him in 2010.

Obamatrons Angry About New Tax Increases

I am utterly amazed by the fools and idiots on the left that thought that if they re-elected Obama to a second term, he would magically make things better without raising taxes.

Get ready because tax increases are going to become the norm for Obama and his Obamatrons, who have no other way to fix the mess that they created in the first term.

This was exactly what I was trying to tell you Obamatrons right here on the BrokenCountry for the duration of the election cycle.

I was roundly attacked by the hacks on the left as a racist and an idiot for daring to point out the obvious. That is that Obama created socialized medicine and didn’t have any way to pay for it.

Now the chickens have come home to roost. Tax are and will continue to go up on virtually everything we consume to pay for more social spending, and guess who is going to take it the hardest. The poor and middle class.

That’s because taxes on food, alcohol, energy and cigarettes and virtually everything else we consume on a regular basis will go up exponentially.

There is also the staggering cost of inflation that is absolutely crippling the lower and middle class that gets nary a mention by the state controlled media. I am sure everyone has noticed that the local trip to the market for groceries has just about doubled in the last four years. Expect that trend to continue.

Meanwhile back at ground zero, the have the Obamatrons are now just figuring out that they made a horrible mistake by re-electing their messiah to another term in office.

Obamatrons were actually stupid enough to believe that Obama would only go after the people that had applied themselves and succeeded in life and leave them alone. What a scam that was by the democrats. Class warfare works best on the inept idiots of any society.

Enter John Boehner. Boehner who has been thoroughly vilified by both the left and the right in the “fiscal cliff” mini-series that played on the Washington stage, did exactly what he needed to do in those negotiations. He Gave Obama enough rope to hang himself and the entire democrat party.

For those of you that don’t think that all of this isn’t well thought out by the republicans, you couldn’t be more wrong. The republicans took a beating in the last three elections. They understood that America has turned away from fiscal conservatism and turned toward “whats in it for me” coming from the democrats.

How do you deal with this after three poor showings? You let the democrats have their way. You let them run the nation into the ground and create a mess like the one that the European Union has created by letting the democrats spend us into oblivion.

I think its a brilliant strategy all things considered. After all our society has become incredibly stupid when it comes to the best way to run a nation. If you cannot fight a fire with water then why not use fire?

Its a calculated risk that the republicans are willing to take. Let the democrats ruin America with the end result being chaos and bedlam, then step in to pick up the the pieces and put it back together again.

Of course this strategy will hurt us all. But to me its worth the price if it ends the democrat party once and for all, or at least damages the dems to the point that it will take them 50 years to recover.

Out here on the the left coast in California, we have just had major tax hikes thanks to proposition 30 and the massive union rank and file that put that upon us. Federal tax hikes will make it nearly impossible to survive in the state. Hang on to your wallets California.

Obamatrons should rejoice for the short term, because your days riding on the gravy train will be short lived. Once the cold hard reality of the Obama socialist mantle sets its teeth into the working class, you and your way of thinking will die a horrible and costly death. JD

Benghazi, Hurricane Sandy, Unemployment, Obama is in Hawaii, Where is the media?

obama2Donna Vanzant in this photo with President Obama which has subsequently gone viral. But while the president promised quick relief, Vanzant is now charging that the nation’s leader broke his pledge and has yet to deliver.

I cannot ever remember anytime in my 50 years on this planet where the national media has been so blinded by party loyalty. With all of the the absolute ignorance on display from the Obama administration for all to see, one question looms heavy on the shoulders of most Americans. Where is the media in all of this?

I used to say that they were working for Obama. Now I believe that they are working for a socialist machine that seems intent on ignoring these epic stories that are front page top fold news in Europe, instead focusing on the growing discontent coming from the right.

In fact the American media seems to believe that anyone that dares to have an opinion that does not conform to their group think are hate mongers and racists and any other name they can conger up to shout dissension down and clear the way for the hammer and sickle crowd.

Benghazi was a terrorist attack. Everyone but Obama seems to know that. The victims of Sandy are being ignored while Obama spends beautiful days and night in the balmy weather of Hawaii. Unemployment numbers show nothing more than seasonal growth, the Fiscal Cliff has been pushed back a year, there is no budget, where in the hell do you want me to stop?

The list goes on and on. There is abject ignorance from the leftist media in this country . . . that is unless your a republican.

If this were a Obama were a Republican the media would be following him about Hawaii attacking him for daring to go on vacation while the country is in shambles. They would dredge up that wig wearing hump Sam Donaldson to attack the president at every turn.

But instead what we see is a media following the marching orders from the Democratic National Committee. The media ignores what they should attack. They act surprised if lone wolf FoxNews dares to ask pertinent questions of Obama on any given issue. Some in the media actually cover FoxNews as a news story for daring to Ask Obama the hard hitting questions that should be asked of him. They insinuate that FoxNews is being “racist” for asking such questions in the first place.

The democrats understood one thing many years ago. Control the schools and you control the future. You take children and fill their heads full of nothing for 12 years and send them out into life without a clue and they will grow dependent on GOVERNMENT. Once they are dependent on government they will have no choice but to elect them time and time again.

The school system is where this war is being waged and our children are the army, being sacrificed for the good of the democratic party and all the union thugs behind it. They line their pockets with cash and votes while we wonder how to stop them. We are witnessing absolute evil in the making.

Obama used the kids and the families of Sandy Hook Elementary School. Like pawns they were lined up and sacrificed for the good of Obama and the democratic party. What did the media do? Sat on their collective souls and sold out for the almighty ratings point. Why? Because high ratings equals high revenue for the corporate giants that control them.

To add insult to injury, Obama and the media sat about a few weeks later trying to convince us all that it was “heart wrenching” to cover Sandy Hook and the toll that it took on them was “enormous.”

Trust me when I say this. Those scumbags in the media, Obama and the DNC wish a Sandy Hook incident happened every day. The media for the ratings and the democrats so they could use it to strip away our freedoms.

The media is the false prophet and the democrats evil incarnate. They speak of a panacea where everyone is dependent on one system of government, devoid of any individuality.

A utopia where no one need actually apply themselves, the government will take care of you.

All one need do is look to Europe to see that this kind of system doesn’t work. The European union is in danger of collapse because of their entitlements. France just tried to raise their tax rates on millionaires to 75 percent and said “It will only affect a few thousand people.” That’s because the wealthy have left France and that is exactly what is happening here in America.

We have all seen the damage that one political party can do when left in control for too long. In 40 short years they have transformed America from a nation of doers and creators into a nation of selfish lazy people with no incentive to create or do anything.

Its time for real change. At this point the only way I see that change coming is with drastic measures. JD
