Obama’s Support of Amnesty For Illegal Immigrants A Slap In The Face To American Workers

There is a common misconception when it comes to the American blue collar worker. That is, we won’t do jobs that are labor intensive.

I have heard the argument that illegal aliens are here doing the work that Americans won’t do. However, I have never heard any of the proponents of illegal immigration finish the sentence.

The sentence should should read “Illegal immigrants are here doing the work Americans won’t do for five dollars an hour.”

Because that the case. Trust me when I say this. I have seen entire industries ruined by illegal immigration.

The construction industry is a fine example. I used to be able to make a living wage pulling wire and swinging a hammer. Today there are people doing electrical work for ten dollars an hour.

The only people that benefit from illegal immigration are American corporations that hire these people and pay them peanuts to do work that a more qualified American worker would be paid a living wage for.

If you think for one minute that there are not people in America today that would not give up their search for a cushy office job and get a job doing manual labor to make ends meet, you are as stupid as our fearless leader.

Unemployment is on the rise again my friends. People are lining up looking for jobs.

How many Americans could be working today if there were not thirty million illegal aliens here taking those jobs?

If you have teenagers, forget about it. Here in California, virtually every entry level position is filled by illegal aliens or the children of illegal aliens.

I go to a fast food joint to order food and the person working the drive up window barely speaks English and is nearly impossible to understand.

My sixteen year old has applied at every fast food place in town. They won’t hire her.

You know why? Because all of them employ three or four legal workers and ten illegals that they pay under the table.

Don’t believe me? Read this WSJ article about Chipotle Grill. After Chipotle was exposed as a major employer of illegal aliens, their stock went up! Through the roof as a matter of fact.

Why? Because they make a huge profit by keeping labor costs down. Wall Street understands this. Investors understand this. How does this help me as an American worker and consumer?

It doesn’t help me at all. Have you been to Chipotle Grill lately? Its some of the most expensive fast food out there and almost all of their employees barely speak a lick of English.

So lets review. Our kids can’t find work. Adults can’t find work. Unemployment is on the rise, yet President Obama wants to grant Amnesty to the very scofflaws that are here taking jobs from Americans.

Go figure. JD

    The great masses of people in Mexico and Central America who think that simply coming across the border to the US is going to solve all their problems are mistaken. That kind of monolingual, mono-cultural emigration hurts the host country for many reasons. It’s also not good for the societies and economies of the abandoned homeland. The solution is not to come to someone else’s better place (gosh, we could all move to New Zealand if that were the case!) but rather to make your own place better.

    So what’s wrong about not speaking good english??

    I am a 21 year old ASU student, who does have a very heavy accent, I am a full time student and work a full time job, I am a fraud agent for a credit card and I make very damn good money so far, and my english is bad, so what? that doesn’t mean I am stupid!!!!

    Sorry that I am smarter and that I am able to perform a lot better in a work palce than your slow talking and shy daugther that does not posses any skills. employeers hire US!! because we are able to stand percevere in a work place longer than most of other individuals out there! BECAUSE if they were to hire your daugther, she would get tired of making tacos FASTER than a broken english indivual ( I guess you refer to hispanic people right? or is this a white skin blue eye individual who immigrated from RUSSIA)????  oh wait it’s okay to be illegal as long as you are not brown! 

    You are just a racist indivual who needs to get more education in anthopology and sociology dude

    I am a plumber…I´ve been in major cunstruction projects and have the privellage to work with very skilled individuals. I can give an honest opinion that very few white workers are willing to pick up a shovel and start making treches for water lines, gas lines, sewer lines. Sewer lines especially, I´ve yet to work with a white plumber that is willing to crawl under a house and repair a broken, leaking sewer line. We don´t take jobs from anyone. The jobs are there, we´re the only ones willing to dive in and make our money.

    This is exactly one of the few reasons we have a govnt. To PREVENT this from happening not encourage it. But no instead we welcome them with open arms, free health care, subsidized housing and mandatory signs in there language so they understand how to get these things.

     

    It’s far more easier for them to come to the land of free milk and honey than to actually make a change in there own country. It’s high time we rectify this atrocity and make it very clear to all elected officials that we want them off there dairy air and fixing this problem now!

    Obama has shown what constituency he cares about – and they are not Americans.  All he cares about are illegals and votes.  I hope legal citizens give him an earful about letting millions of criminal illegals get away with all their crimes.  He is the ultimate traitor to this country!

    This loser has to be the WORST President EVER! 

    ANYONE BUT OBAMA IN 2012 !!!  Vote out ALL polititicans who support illegals and amnesty.
