FART BARF . . . WTF?

So I work in Commerce, California for a rather large company. Each day as I traverse the highways and byways of the Greater Los Angeles area, I see some pretty wacky stuff that I thought I would share with the rest of the world.

This particular image can be seen in the Google Maps at 5790 Washington Blvd, Commerce CA. or at this link.

The building is some sort of Orthopedic equipment service, and these the words “FART BARF” has been stenciled on the side of the building for the full five years that I have worked in the area.

The funny thing is that no matter how many times I see it, I still kind of chuckle every time. Just one of the interesting sights here in Los Angeles. JD

UPDATE: So I did a bit of research and found out that here in Los Angeles there is a local analogue synthesizer band called FART BARF. I provided a link above should anyone be interested in seeing their site. Perhaps they painted the words “FART BARF” up on that building.

Let the media attacks on republicans begin!

Here is a Google News search using the words “Health” “Care” “Republicans.” I want anyone that cares to take the time to go look at the results with this link. One simply needs to read the headlines to see which way the media leans in America.

Have fun. Let me know what you think. JD

Mount Baldy in the background

Mount Baldy Mount San Antonio San Gabriel Mountains

Do I really need to explain it to you? This is why people like me live in Southern California. We have been pummeled by storms for the last month or so. But when the clouds move out, the sun moves in and reveals the mountains covered in snow.

The mountain in the background is called Mount Baldy, but its also known as Mount San Antonio. It gets its name for obvious reasons. Its the highest peak of the San Gabriel Mountains, topping off at 10,068 feet elevation.

For the next week or so we are supposed to see temperatures in the mid sixties and clear skies. You can see these snow covered mountains while standing on a sun soaked beach just thirty miles away.

I just thought I would show everyone what I woke up to today. J
