Stephen Colbert Sucks

I don’t get Colbert and I never will. I don’t think he is funny at all and his show is the same tired schtick over and over again. It gets downright unbearable to watch. With that being said, Colbert thinks its funny to go to Washington and make a mockery of the American process of government, and we are all supposed to laugh about it?
Its pretty clear that this was just a publicity stunt on the part of Colbert to try and get people to watch that crappy show of his. The Colbert Report gets a 1.3 share in the ratings. This equates to about 1.2 million people that watch the show, with a margin of error of plus or minus one. So quite literally no one may be watching The Colbert Report.
The cartoons on Adult Swim beat out The Colbert Report in the ratings. Thats embarrassing. At what point will the people finally tire of Colbert’s stupid show and stop watching all together? Sooner rather than later I’m sure.

Stephen Colbert is unfunny and his weird ear drives me crazy!
hey im 21, and can i just say, as a “young” person, colbert is sometimes funny but the whole thing is just annoying, and i dont like that he is getting money from this super pact
Yes Jon and Stephen's shows are meant to be comedy. Yet you will be surprised how many people iv talk to who quote them as if they are real news shows. I personally use to watch them, but then like you mentioned they kept doing the same thing over n over n over n over again. At that point i felt it got boring and i stopped watching. Now recently iv been watching Onion News on IFC. They make fun of politics all together and i find that much more entertaining.
Colbert does suck. He's just not funny. I don't care who he makes fun of or if he goes to washington to make fun of politicians or his political views, hes just a horrible comedian.
Exactly and thanks for the comment. He is an idiot that is rarely funny. JD
Quote from you: "If its SNL, Colbert or any other liberal making fun of conservatives, then its hysterically funny. If its Limbaugh, Hannity or any conservative, then its not funny. "
So your argument is that Hannity, Limbaugh, or any other conservative are on the same level as COMEDIANS..? If so then you may have stumbled onto something there.
In all seriousness, both of the shows on Comedy Central are purposely there to make fun of politics in general. Sure Jon Stewart makes fun of conservatives more but that is his prerogative. And Stephen Colbert always plays a character, mainly a satirical, conservative news anchor. So of course they are going to make fun of them.
But people like Hannity and Limbaugh are not presenting there shows as satirical. They are suppose to be informative. And as such, should have enough professionalism to portray either their anger or disagreement on/of liberals/Democrats without resorting to name calling and mud slinging.
Now before you attack me back by citing MSNBC, I also know they do the same thing the other way. And I condemn them of the same thing.
Basically, just chillax. These are comedy shows meant to poke fun. If conservatives are that concerned about comedy shows, then have them create their own shows that does the same thing but to the Democrats.
"I don’t get Colbert and I never will."
It's never too late to try. Ask a young person, or someone with a sense of humor.
Then again, if you refer to syndicated episodes of Family Guy as "the cartoons on Adult Swim" then you're probably beyond salvation.
Well okay then. There is an interesting dichotomy in behavior of the average liberal. If its SNL, Colbert or any other liberal making fun of conservatives, then its hysterically funny. If its Limbaugh, Hannity or any conservative, then its not funny.
Routinely, my readers pigeon hole me into the conservative group think. This is simply not the case at all. Although I am not a conservative, I am not a liberal either. I am a new breed of thinker that makes well informed opinions that are outside the control of either of the group thinker type groups.
If you think for one minute that watching Will Ferrell make fun of GW Bush didn't make me laugh hysterically, well then you are a narrow minded asshole that can't see the forest through the trees.
Colbert just is not that funny. I have watched many episodes, and I have got a few chuckles, but its the same tired bits night after night. Its not that funny. JD
How sad that the typical low IQ tea bagger lacks the perspective to appreciate satire. Have fun watching Adult Swim, douche bag!
I will. Thanks for the comment!
So basically if someone isn't entertained by constant satire, insulting republicans and anyone else that doesn't conform to your sort-sighted hypocritical ideas… you must be an inbred white trash. Colbert complains about how fox news is republican propaganda and doesn't release unbiased news, true they are, but he shouldn't be the one to say that. He shouldn't say that when he invites Micheal Moore to set up Morre's every complaint about America in on long string, but when anyone he deems "close-minded" comes on to discusses their political views. They are constantly distracted by Colbert starting a random subject gor a cheap laugh at the guest's expense.
Colbert is neither funny nor changing in his comedy. He has not changed his bit since leave Jon Stewart's show. His own Bias is only made worse when he slanders others for the same. He is cheap humour for those to stupid to follow serious news shows or research for themselves.
