Wal-Mart introduces wireless phones plan under own brand

Wal-Mart is introducing the first cell phone plan that uses the chain’s own branding, further demonstrating its clout in getting special deals from wireless carriers.

The Wal-Mart Family Mobile service will run on T-Mobile USA’s network. Unlimited calling and texting will cost $45 per month for the first line and $25 for each additional line for the family. The Wal-Mart-branded service will be offered starting next week.

Since last year, Wal-Mart Stores Inc. has been the exclusive seller of the Straight Talk service, which runs on the Verizon Wireless network. Wal-Mart is also trying out another service from Sprint Nextel Corp.

Sheyla Hershey Has World’s Largest Breast Implants Removed

Sheyla Hershey naked breastsIs it just me, or does this woman look absolutey ridiculous? I don’t know what doctor did that to her face, but she should sue him for making her look like the Joker. Most people want to grow up to be doctors or firemen. Sheyla Hershey aspired to have the worlds largest breasts. What a douchebag.

Sheyla Hershey’s fight to save her M cup breast implants came to an end Thursday, as she underwent surgery in Richmond, Tex., to have them removed, myFOXhouston.com reported.

Hershey — who was trying to achieve fame for having the largest breasts in the world and has had over 30 plastic surgeries — was plagued by severe infections and high fevers after her most recent implant surgery in Brazil in June 2010.

Because implants as large as Hershey’s are illegal in the U.S., the Brazilian-born Houston, Tex., resident went to her home country earlier this year for the surgery.

But after the operation, Hershey became seriously ill and has since been closely monitored by a cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Ron Bucek, and an infectious disease expert, Dr. Shazia Gill, in Texas.

Before Thursday’s surgery to remove the implants, Bucek performed two other operations to help drain the infected areas, and a special vacuum had been suctioning the infection from Hershey’s body 24 hours a day for months.

“It’s the only thing that has saved my life, to be honest,” Hershey said of the device, though she added that it was “annoying” and “heavy.”

In a pre-surgery interview, Hershey said she was finally ready for all four implants — two in each breast — to be removed.

“I decided to go smaller — a lot smaller. I just want a normal size like a normal housewife has,” she said.

“I know it’s going to be a lot of pain on me because I love to have them, but I realize that my family comes first and I love my daughter and son and they come first.”

“Even though I love to have huge breasts … I’m going to try to live without it. Hopefully I will be done then and be happy and just running around with my kids!”

Whooping Cough in California claims three infants

Here we go again. Whooping cough also known as pertussis, is a huge problem in Mexico so it would only stand to reason that it would become a huge problem here in California, where illegal aliens waltz across the border day and night. All the infants that died in California were Latino.

New epidemics are cropping up all the time here in So Cali. Whooping cough and Tuberculosis have been on the rise for years. Coming to a neighborhood near you soon.

The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) is on high alert as it tries to control a whooping cough epidemic that state officials say has already produced 3,834 “confirmed, probable, and suspect cases” of the disease since the the start of 2010.

By this time in 2009, only 530 cases of whooping cough, or pertussis, had been reported for the year in California. But as of Tuesday, the state has recorded seven times as many cases for this year. With three months left in 2010, California is on track to exceed the single-year record number of whooping cough cases recorded in 1958.

There have been eight whooping cough deaths in California this year, all of them of infants under 3 months old. Alameda County has not reported any deaths, and to date has only reported eight hospitalizations, but the threat is still very real to those in the Bay Area.

Due to the highly contagious nature of whooping cough and its strikingly similar symptoms to those of the common cold, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the CDPH have issued new vaccination recommendations.

Both health agencies are recommending that every California citizen over age 10 receive the whooping cough booster shot, or Tdap, to help increase immunity in the adult population and stop the spread of the disease.
