I can remember as if it were yesterday the Wall Street Journal saying that the European Union was not a good idea. I can also remember back in 2005 when WSJ said that the Euro would lead to a catastrophic failure of the world economy.

My prediction is that the Euro will fail and the union will split in an attempt for the European nations that are still somewhat financially sound to save themselves. These nations include Germany, France and England, among others.

This will cause a devaluation of the Chinese yuan, because they have lent billions to EU countries. When that happens, China will start forcing countries that they have lent money to pay back their debt. That will lead to a collapse of all currency, including the U.S. dollar.

The irony of all of this is that the countries that are financially destitute and creating all of the problems in the EU are socialist nations where one quarter to one third of these countries people work for the government and unions run everything else.

Here we sit in America. One of the only countries left in the world, where people are not trapped in a failing socialist system and contrary to popular belief and what the media says, the vast majority of the people still work in the private sector.

America sits on the precipice of socialism. With Obama, we have elected as President a man that views socialism as America’s future. At the time of Obama’s election, people seemed to want this to be the future of America.

Throughout the election, we here at the BrokenCountry were trying to explain to people the dangers of becoming more like France and Germany. All one needs to do is search out our archives to see the countless articles warning of the dangers of socialism.

Yet the left managed to get the lazy and inept off of their welfare collecting asses, and rallied the young ideologues in college to elect Obama.

Now Americans can see first hand how incredibly dangerous socialism is to a society. We read about it every day. We see it on the news. American news outlets show the violence and rioting in Greece, but they intentionally neglect to tell us why the country is falling apart. Its SOCIALISM!

The people of Greece have been living off of the government for so long that they now
refuse to get off the lazy train. France and Germany are soon to follow.

The governments of these countries have been trying to tell their people that if they do not enact change immediately, there will be no more country, but the people don’t care. All they care about is living fat and easy.

Americans need to watch the situation in Europe very carefully. This will be our future if we stay the course that the democrats have put us on. Bob
