I was watching this yesterday on the local news. Once again the a group of teachers, being egged on by the California Teachers Association or CTA, are out on strike.

Before I go on, there are several things that the rest of America should know about education in California.

Here on the left coast, the people have been snookered by the unions. Its to the point now that the people of California are hit with so much union propaganda during each election cycle, that no one really knows who to believe anymore.

The CTA has duped the California voter into believing that dedicating 60 percent of the annual state budget to education was a good idea. Because of this, California teachers are among the highest paid teachers in the country.

Now when I was a kid, pencils, paper, notebook, rulers and everything else you would need in a classroom was provided by the school. Field trips were paid for by the school district.

Today, the greedy teachers make so much of the educational money that there literally is no money left to actually educate the children. To go on field trips, the kids are forced to become salesmen and hawk everything from tee shirts to candy bars to go on field trips.

Like fat pigs eating slop from the trough, teachers feed on our tax dollar. Yet these same fat piggies are the first to cry foul when the slop (money) runs out. They pick up their picket signs and walk the streets claiming that they are striking “for the children.”

The soccer moms and haus frau’s, being the gullible fools that they are, buy this nonsense hook, line and sinker. They begin putting pressure on the school district through the union friendly media, saying things like “what about the children” and “my kid is being cheated” as if the district can just pull the money out of its collective ass to feed the greedy pigs and keep adding slop to the trough.

This is all predicated on lies and deception. These teachers make between 70 and 100 thousand dollars a year for working nine months a year, six months if you factor in spring break, all the union mandated holidays and minimum days.

Don’t believe me? You people down in San Juan Capistrano should drive past the faculty parking lot. You will see a collection of some of the most expensive automobiles sold in America sitting there, all owned by these poor, underpaid teachers.

In fact, next time your watering your yard or getting your mail, take a close look at those same cars, taking your underpaid teachers past your house to their house up the hill in the gated community that you cannot afford to live in.

You people are a bunch of saps. Teachers are some of the laziest people on the planet. They are nothing more than glorified welfare recipients living off of your hard work.

Most teachers don’t give two shits about your kids. My daughter has a teacher that told her that “He was just teaching to pay his way through medical school.” This teacher would let the kids read, play games and text on their cell phones, and then send their lessons home for me to teach my kid.

Now before you soccer moms pee your pants and begin your hormonally charged attack on me, I understand that there are still some good teachers out there, but they are so few and far between anymore that there are not enough of them to make a difference.

Cut the pay. Let the teachers cry. Let them show their true colors by doing an even worse job then they already do. Its not about the children. Its about their wallets. JD
