Kate Gosselin’s “Stubby”

I told you Kate Gosselin is a shrew. Here are people that have witnessed first hand how Kate used to mock and ridicule Jon Gosselin. Now Kate is out on the “rehab tour” trying to improve her self image. Too late Kate. We all know you are a troll. Go back under your bridge and shut the hell up . . . for once. JD

Here’s a nickname that falls a little short.

A few days after Hailey Glassman complained to Steppin’ Out magazine that Jon Gosselin‘s penis is “tiny, tiny, tiny,” another “source” tells the magazine that his ex wife Kate had a different way of referring to his manhood: “Stubby.”

According to the source, Kate would joke with friends and family about Jon’s, er, shortcomings, and even call him “Stubby” to his face to mock him.

Us Weekly has reported that Kate, 34, often chastised Jon, 32, over the course of their 10-year marriage, which was officially dissolved last December. Admitted Jon to Good Morning America last September, “I took a lot of abuse from her. I was put down.”

Glassman, the 23-year-old daughter of the plastic surgeon who performed Kate’s free tummy tuck, told Steppin’ Out she often mocked Jon’s penis size to his face.

“He said, ‘You know how subconscious [sic] I am of down there,’” says Glassman — who poses in lacy panties and a skimpy top on the cover of the gossip mag. “I would tell him to his face, ‘I don’t think you would cheat on me because you’re so small.’”

Jon — who split from Glassman in December — is currently getting cozy with Morgan Christie, 25. Kate was recently spotted club hopping in New York City with her hairstylist Ted Gibson, who told UsMagazine.com he “didn’t think” she was ready to begin dating again.

Goel Ratzon, Israeli cult leader charged with enslavement, rape

Jerusalem (CNN) — An Israeli man accused of having 23 wives and fathering 59 children was charged Sunday in a Tel Aviv court with multiple counts of sexual assault, rape, sodomy and enslavement.

Goel Ratzon, 60, was arrested last month.

Authorities charge that he lived in a compound with the 23 wives, having convinced them that he was omnipotent.

All the wives tattooed Ratzon’s name and picture on their arms and the children’s names are all derivatives of his name, according to the court papers.

Ratzon married his first wife in 1972, added a second wife in the early 1980s, and from 1991 added another 21 wives, according to the indictment.

He persuaded the women that he had the power to heal and curse, through which he gained “complete control of their lives, desires, thoughts, emotions and actions,” the court papers say.

Ratzon spoke in court for first time last week, saying he was innocent, that everything was done with consent, and that any women who wished to leave could do so, Israeli media reported.

The indictment charges that the defendant “captured the women in a ‘pseudo-family’ structure that revolved around the worship of his image, making the birth of his children a supreme goal that the women must aspire to, and all this was to glorify him while serving and fulfilling all his needs.”

Ratzon demanded that his wives and children completely obey all of his orders and has stringent rules and had a penalty system if they disobeyed him, the indictment alleges.

He also “abused his wives by trampling their self-worth and cut them off from any outside social contact including their families, and by this enslaved them to him and his desires,” the court papers say.

The indictment includes allegations of rape and sodomy of two of his daughters, sexual assault of another daughter, and rape, assault and sodomy of four other girls.

Beyond the mental and physical control Ratzon had over his wives, he effectively controlled all of their finances, the indictment says. The women deposited major chunks of their social security payments and salaries into the family’s account, paid for all of his living expenses and bought him all his property and anything he demanded, authorities charge.

Ratzon’s cult has been known to the authorities for about 10 years, they said, but it was only about six months ago they succeeded in convincing one of the women to file a complaint. That brought about his arrest last month.

Valentines Day Sucks

I’m a romantic guy, but man do I hate Valentines Day. Its a useless day where a man has to bend over backward to please the woman he loves. The way I have to figure it, if you need a special day to show the person you are with that you love them, then you are doing something wrong every other day.

Valentines Day is just another scam created by the greeting card industry to sell cards. We have all been duped into believing that if we don’t do something special for the one we love on this day, we are somehow less in love with our significant other than the next guy.

Women are the primary driver of this notion. I have a friend at work who was telling me just yesterday that his wife, a cashier in a supermarket, keeps telling him how all these men are coming through her line and telling her about all the special things that they intend to do with their wives on Valentines Day.

I told him, “Look, I have seen your wife and trust me when I say this. These morons are only saying that because they want to bang your wife.”

I also told him that she is only telling you this as to make him jealous so that he will go out and do something special for her.

That leads me to yet another interesting observation. When I was married, it was just expected of me to make a big deal of taking my wife out to dinner and buying her flowers and the candy and blah blah blah.

From her, all I would receive is a card. A stinking lousy greeting card. That was it. Here I am shelling out eighty dollars for flowers, a hundred dollars on dinner, a box of candy and all the other crap I would get her, and all I got was a greeting card?

I used to believe that it was just me that got ripped off on Valentines Day. But then I started asking my friends, “So what did you do on Valentines Day?”

Invariably the responses were all the same. Dinner, flowers, movie, cards, etc. I would then ask what their wives did for them and with the exception of one guy who said his wife gave him an unmentionable sex act, the answer would be “Oh she got me a card.”

Its the same thing on Mothers Day, yet another scam perpetrated on the American male and propagated by the greeting card industry.

On Mothers Day, men are forced to buy gifts and take a woman to dinner that ISN’T THEIR MOTHER! My ex wife isn’t my mom. Why the hell should I have to get her anything for mothers day?

But every year, there I am in line with all the other saps, pissed off that the line is so long and pissed off that I have to buy this crap in the first place. But God help me if I don’t buy her something.

Why? Because then I have to hear two weeks of crap from her, followed by having to hear her on the phone telling her mom, her sisters, her friends, the mailman, the gardener, the pool guy, the friggin bum at the quickie mart about how her man got her nothing for Valentine Day or Mothers Day.

Then the chorus of friends wives ridiculing me when I see them and looking at me with disdain. Who needs this shit?

And trying to outdo your family and friends? Geez, there’s another pressure cooker that shaves years off of a mans life.

We all wonder why women live longer than men? Its because of Valentines Day and Mothers Day and the pressure brought to bear in the form of outdoing your friends and family with a bigger, better gift idea, all with the hope of getting that kick ass greeting card in return, and the remote possibility of getting laid.

I guess there is one positive. Its good for the economy. It puts people to work and . . . wait a minute. The flowers I bought were grown in Mexico, the chocolate is made in China and the greeting card was printed in India.

Never mind. I guess there really is no benefit. JD

St. Paul MN. man shot to death, 18-year-old son arrested

A family dispute turned violent Saturday in St. Paul, leaving a father shot to death and his son arrested.

Police say the 18-year-old son found a gun and, at some point during the argument, turned it on his 45-year-old dad. The father died at an area hospital.

Neighbors said the family generally was quiet. And though they weren’t sure what the two had been quarreling about, neighbors did hear an argument followed by several gunshots.

The incident occurred Saturday afternoon outside a duplex in the 1100 block of Bush Avenue in St. Paul’s Dayton’s Bluff neighborhood.

Bertha Sanchez, who lives across the street, said she heard seven gunshots at 1:35 p.m. When she looked outside, she saw the victim lying on the walkway leading up to the duplex.

“There was a lady there praying for him, hugging him,” Sanchez said from the steps of her house late Saturday afternoon, as her daughter, Catalina Lara, translated.

The victim — known to neighbors as Tyrone — was pale, but alive and moaning, Sanchez said.

Sanchez said that the victim and his family had lived in the neighborhood five to seven months and that there hadn’t been any disturbances or police calls to the house.

“The only thing I heard was arguing,” said Marissa Rodriguez, who lives two doors down from the victim’s home. “I didn’t think anything of it, so I shut the window. The next thing I know, my kids are saying, ‘The cops are here.’ ”

She saw paramedics take the victim away on a

stretcher. He looked limp, she said.

“I didn’t know the guy got murdered,” said Rodriguez, a soft-spoken mother of three. “I’ve never seen anything like that in my life.”

“This block is quiet. This is very unusual,” said Charmaine Cullom, who lives around the corner. “Mostly everybody on this block (watches) out for everybody. … This is too close to home.”

Maxine Hall just moved to Bush Avenue last week and didn’t know the victim or his family but called the shooting “shocking.”

“I heard screaming and hollering,” Hall said.

There was a woman walking up and down the street yelling, “Where did he go?” and “Why would he shoot his own father?” Hall said.

Police said the man was shot multiple times and died a short time later at Regions Hospital in St. Paul.

His son had fled the home but was located and arrested without incident a few blocks away, police said. He was being held Saturday evening on probable-cause murder.

The identities of the victim and suspect were not released early Saturday evening, pending notification of family, Sgt. Paul Schnell said.

After the shooting, police tape surrounded the duplex. Officers tagged and photographed evidence strewn about the front walkway, including a winter

coat, gloves and what appeared to be a bloodstain.

Investigators have verified that there was some sort of domestic disturbance before the shooting but have yet to say what the argument was about or what the motive was.
