Josh Shirley Fontana Kaiser linebacker picks UCLA

Go UCLA! Good pick Josh Shirley! I hate USC. Too many people are USC “Bandwagon Fans” because USC football is always in the top ten and ranked high. Rooting for USC is akin to going to Vegas and rooting for the house to win. Anybody can be a USC fan. Josh Shirley picked a school where you actually have to have a brain to attend in UCLA. Good for UCLA for picking up an amazingly talented player. JD

In one of the big surprises of the recruiting day, Fontana Kaiser linebacker Josh Shirley has selected UCLA as his college choice.

USC and Miami were supposed to be the top two contenders, though the Bruins never gave up on Shirley, who’s known for his pass-rushing ability.

His arrival in Westwood, combined with linebacker Jordan Zumwalt from Huntington Beach Edison, adds lots of ability to UCLA’s defense.
