Minerva Gonzalez, Fontana mother of two found murdered

FONTANA, Calif. (KABC) — A mother of two in Fontana was found murdered in her home on Monday. According to neighbors, her husband discovered her dead.
The victim was identified as 28-year-old Minerva Gonzalez of Fontana. Neighbors said Gonzalez was a very nice woman, and they’re stunned by the murder.
The victim’s husband went to work and according to neighbors, came home to find his wife dead inside their home in the 9200 block of Juniper Avenue at 3:39 p.m. He called 911, but when paramedics arrived, she was unresponsive with traumatic injuries. She was declared dead at the scene.
Neighbors said Gonzalez would always walk her two young children to and from school, but on Monday, she did not pick them up in the afternoon.
“Real nice lady, you wouldn’t think somebody would do anything to her like this,” said neighbor Alfredo Viayra.
Neighbors said the family had been burglarized over Thanksgiving. Police have not said if they believe the family had been targeted, or if Gonzalez was the victim of random violence.
The exact cause of death has not yet been determined. An autopsy has not yet been performed.
No one has been arrested. Anyone with information is urged to call Fontana police at (909) 350-7700.

Para la familia de Minerva, es una tragedia saber que algo asi le paso a una persona como Minerva. No la conosco pero al oir de su trajedia, ser madre de dos ninos & esposa…… que tragedia. Mi pesame para su familia, que dios los bendiga.

My sister went to Church with Minerva and everyone there is very upset about this. Now two children are left without a mother. One thing that Minerva always talked to people about was about the love that she had for God. According to my sister she was a wonderful mother, wife and Christian.
May God give peace to her husband who is in great deal of pain. To her children may they keep the values and love for God that she worked so hard to instill in them.
To the murders, I hope that when you are in the fires of hell that God have mercy with your soul.
