Being a golfer and an avid fan of the sport, I have been watching The Golf Channel a lot lately because they have beeen showing a lot of replays of old tournaments that Tiger Woods had golfed in, and I am struck with just how many of the replays feature a struggling Tiger Woods.

When you look at them now, its pretty clear that Tiger appears to be tired and hung over. But the public image that Woods himself had always put forth was such, that there was just no way to believe that Tiger was out partying all night. I remember once being in a bar with some friends and watching Tiger on TV and suggesting that perhaps he had a hangover, and people all over the bar said that Tiger didn’t drink.

Wow, were we wrong. Turns out the guy is a hard core drinker and a womanizer. Its no wonder his game went to shit. He was so busy banging and drinking that he couldn’t even play the game. Just a thought. JD

Tiger Woods is getting treatment at a top sex addiction program in Hattiesburg, Miss., sources have told RadarOnline.com exclusively.

The troubled golf great checked into Pine Grove Behavioral Health and Addiction Services, sources say.

The clinic, considered one of the top in the nation for sexual addiction, is directed by Dr. Patrick Carnes, who has pioneered treatment for sexually compulsive behavior.

According to the Web site for the facility, patients usually spend about six weeks in treatment. Sex addicts receive a variety of treatments, including group therapy, cognitive behavior therapy and something called “shame reduction.”

As RadarOnline.com has previously reported, Woods has not been seen publicly since his infamous car accident in the early morning hours after Thanksgiving after an alleged altercation with his wife Elin after she discovered he was having an affair.
