ON POLITICAL CORRECTNESS

Which end is politically correct?

Guest correspondent Joe Pyloric here.

I got an email from a friend today that very precisely defined Political Correctness, and is most well stated:


“Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.”

    A great definition, which I hope will soon appear in Wikipedia and other similar sources. I might just substitute “political parties” in place of “media”. Pity no author — must we be left quoting only with “anon”?
