Fontana Teacher Clark Mahoney accused of inappropriately touching students

FONTANA – Two elementary students this week accused a teacher of inappropriately touching them on school grounds.
Clark Mahoney, 43, of Loma Linda was arrested Monday on suspicion of lewd acts with a child, according to a Fontana police news release.
Mahoney, a fourth grade teacher, was booked at West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga. He is being held in lieu of $250,000 bail.
Mahoney is scheduled to appear for arraignment today in Fontana Superior Courthouse.
The two students – who are 9- and 10-years-old – said Mahoney inappropriately touched them Monday at Date Elementary School, 9011 Oleander Ave., Fontana police Sgt. Jeff Decker said.
Investigators are looking at a potential third victim.
A school employee reported the allegations to Principal Jay Caballero, who immediately contacted the Fontana Unified School District administration, according to a district news release.
“This happened (Monday), was reported (Monday) and he was arrested (Monday),” Decker said.
Mahoney has worked at the school for about a decade, Decker said.
“There is a lot of history to go through and a lot of students to contact,” he said.
Investigators are looking to see if there are additional victims.
Parents and guardians of the alleged victims have been informed of the accusations, officials said.

I have two students that are attending this school and yesterday their was a meeting for parents to speak with the principal. Alot of other parents had came forward saying they didnt like the way he was with their children and had brought it to the attention of the previous principal and no action was taken
i have a student there as well..im thankful for the brave kids who told so this will no longer happend to other children..what a way to betradyed little childerns trust..us parents need to teach our kids not to trust nobody not even teachers!! =[
I have two daughters that go to Bonita High School, home of Walter Babst, who was on Dateline "Sexual Predators" episode where Mr. Babst, who taught my oldest daughter, was caught in Mira Loma CA. internet sting going into a house where he thought he was going to have sex with a thirteen year old girl. So I know how you feel and that's why I posted the article and any subsequent follow up stories here as well as the Babst story. JD

Hm… really? I find this kind of hard to take in considering this is a former teacher of mine. He is possibly one of the best teachers I have ever had. If it wasn't for him I would not have been able to excel further in school or go to college. I find these allagations questionable at best. I say this because Fontana Teachers are easy targets. Take Mr. Moon for example… he was falsely accused of something and arrested. There are two sides to every story. Jumping to conclusions is not one of them.
well Mr. Mahoney is single I remember him 5 years ago he was a good teacher but he usually payed more attention to the female students , he even went to their house sometimes and picked them up, well i had my suspiciouns then and i still have them now i wonder, were the victims male or female?
I worked with Mr. Mahoney for a period of 2 years at Date. He was an awesome teacher who’s student’s did really well. He had fun creative ideas for them and always taught them in an encouraging way.
When I heard this news, I found it hard to believe that he would purposely commit this crime. However, because he was a well liked teacher, I would see all students give him hugs and constantly want to be around him. This definetely could make him an easy target. I don’t know what to think. I only knew him in his professional career, not much of his personal life.
My point is, parents do not get discouraged. There are plenty of awesome teachers that are completely trustworthy. If you are ever discouraged or suspicious please make your suspicions known to the school administrators so that the problem gets resolved quickly. I am sorry to those parents that are currently dealing with this situation, I have a child of my own in the same age group and can understand your hurt.
i was one of his students about 14 years ago and im sure he didnt do it. he was a great teacher.
Rightly so, I used to be a former student of his back in the 90's. My brother and both had him as a 4th grade teacher. I also had a few cousins that had him also.
In fact, I just saw him last month at the school. He isn't that kind of person. The problem of this situation is that he is in fact a very popular teacher on campus. That made him an easy target in the first place. What could have triggered this off could be anything… a tap on the shoulder, or even a hug. I work with children myself and I know the routine. You know… being male… it kind of sucks because anything we do will be labeled as sexual, and that would be amplified further if we work with children. He seriously is not that kind of person.
I know he isn't like that and the fact that this all happened so quickly without further research into the matter makes me suspicious of FUSD in general. In response, I am supporting Mahoney in the fact that his in innocent. I am gathering former students going back the last decade in a half, and I'm contacting teachers that know him personally.
Well, considering the fact that everything was done so quickly after these girls' told the principal I have serious doubt if this was even investigated throughly. I had Mahoney in the past and I visit him every few months. I know he is innocent.
I have worked with kids in the past who would lie about teachers or staff just to get rid of them or to make them angry. In fact, I worked at a school where a a student lied about my staff claiming that he touched them. I later learned that this student lied about the staff because he put that student on time out. Of course, the student became angry and made up a lie so my staff would be fired or arrested. I was thankful enough that the principal and the school district I worked for did a good investigation in the matter and was able to get the truth. No one was arrested, and all it took was a solid investigation.
well i attended Date elemenatary skool from kindergarten till 5th grade nd soo did all of my other sibilings. My sister had Mr. Mahoney for 3rd grade, even back in the day when i was at that skool people used to call him mr. mahorny instead of mahoney, rumors wud always go around about him doing wierd things. one time i heard that he went in tha bathroom nd did something with some hyna.. idk but hes always had suspisions nd things pointing him out as someone to keep an eye on. i personally dislike him. i never liked him, he invited students to stay after class nd play games such ass chess checkers.. etc.. my sister wud stay after with many friends. i guess it was like a club. he had a thing for prefering gurlz over boys… even my lil sister said it… for some reason im glad he is where he is right now. he wud play around with tha gurlz nd they didnt always like the way he played. im glad some one spoke up nd ratted him out.
i too was a student of his in 3rd grade 6 yrs ago… He was an amazing teacher, along with marlia and howarth, they all took the time to know there students and reward them, i dont see why people are accusing him of doing these actions when he was a great man. He did many extra curricular activites but there were always other teachers there( usually howarth). and yea maybe he was around girls alot but it wasnt like he called them he would stepp outside and all the kids would flock to him, mr. mahoney lets play basketball, mr.mahoney this , my mahoney that…he was and still is a loved teacher and i think he didnt do what he is accused of doing….
I would tell you that you need to tell the people in charge that these are the people that you are trusting with the charge of your child or children. I really believe they should be scrutinized like a law enforcement officer. Police are routinely looked at to make sure that they are not up to trouble. Thanks for the comment

I hope that Mahoney is innocent. The post was not intended to implicate Mr. Mahoney in some sort of heinous crime. I hope for the sake of all parties involved that these kids are just trying to get even, as many kids today try to do.

My nephews and nieces had him as a teacher, right when they opened the school up to now, and WE DO NOT believe he is a child molester, like some people said he was a very friendly awsome teacher and of course an easy target for these kind of allegations. Most of the kids in his class in all those years as a teacher of Date Elementary would go up to him and hug him. You have to remember kids make up things all the time. I really hope Mr. Mahoney is inocent, me and my family are with him.

Hm… yes this is true… I myself plan on becoming a teacher in the near future and I feel that a routinely look at a teacher to make sure they are not into any trouble is a good idea. In fact… this is a brilliant idea! I might bring this up at the next board meeting if I am able to attend.
The webmaster is correct though… for your own concern you should go to the district and bring your concerns up to them. Also the principal is a good source to turn to also.
Even with parent feelings towards Mahoney… I will take these things as a grain of salt. One piece to a story that has yet to complete with two different tales.
Oh no, by no means are you responsible for it. It just seems that way based on the original source of the article. This is simply the standard article that every paper in the Inland Empire is publishing. I hope for his innocence… and hope that things will go to a semi norm… even though that will very like not happen.
I myself had him as a teacher and know others who were students of his years later. We find it very difficult to believe. He did indeed have a close relationship with his students and the parents of his students. He's a wonderful teacher. Although I do not know the details of this case, I hope he is investigated so that he is not convicted unfairly.
Kevin- Till this day I have been in contact with Clark and was a student of his 14 years ago. I'm eager to see what I can do to defend his innocence (whether it is to testify in the future if needed). It seems you know more about what is going on. Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty! Most of you have no idea what you are talking about or who this man really is. You automatically assume because he is a man and he is single, because he actually enjoys teaching children and playing with them, because his students matter and he cares about them as people, because he is one of the most giving selfless people ever, because he truly believes in his students and wants to make a real difference in their lives; that something must be wrong with him and he is guilty. After all, there really aren't all that many genuinely decent good people in the world are there-so something must be wrong with a guy that is that terrific and who loves to teach more than anything in the world. Most of us cannot fathom such commitment or integrity.
Most of us are quick to see evil in the face of pure goodness because our own hearts aren't really all that good and nice are they? And we feel uncomfortable and suspicious when faced with a truly good soul. We are quick to jump on the band wagon and spew our ugly words and feel so justified as if we knew it all along. Then we don't have to take an honest long look at ourselves and how short we fall, because we can get all whipped up and stand on our soapboxes ready to eliminate the world of the evil. We all feel it is our duty to protect the innocent children of our country and this is such a heinous thing, so we are ready to lynch a man without learning the TRUTH of the matter. How stupid will you all feel when he is COMPLETELY AND UNEQIVOCALLY EXONERATED
Will you even care that you judged him, tried to destroy his life, took away his dignity and freedom and basic rights, and were ready to burn him at the stake, without knowing the truth. Do you care that this guy has an amazing family and countless friends who are devastated by these lies and are grieving as they watch someone the love deeply and respect and trust and KNOW is innocent suffer! Hey people, he has a mom and a dad and a huge family who love him as much as you love your families, do you enjoy the pain you are inflicting on these innocent people as well. Do you even care that rather than being furious with these students, who for whatever vindictive reason are striking out like this, he cares and hopes that whatever pain in their lives they are going through that caused them to do this they will be healed and will get the help they need. Perhaps shutting your mouth, laying down your weapons, and instead praying for the truth to be revealed would be a wiser course of action!
Mr Mahoney is INNOCENT people. He is a true example of a Teacher who goes beyond their duties to have children succeed in their education. He has done so many things for the Fontana USD. He offered after-school programs to further help the children, even help the PARENTS that couldn't pick up the kids on time. If more girls were in the programs, that is because more girls decided to attend. He was not bias, he always offered the boys to stay also. Because of these programs, kids got the chance to do activities instead of staying home watching TV or playing video games.
The parents of these girls should really focus on how much help Mr Mahoney was to them. They should really focus on what is FACT rather than a made up story. Mr Mahoney is one of the GREATEST teachers CA has to offer. Children like the attention they receive from these made up stories. The truth will prevail and Mr Mahoney should be set free!
I'm a kindergarten teacher in FUSD and I think Mr. Mahoney is innocent until proven guilty. I'm not taking any sides, although I find it suspicious that this was reported Mon. and he was ARRESTED on Mon. I have seen this sort of thing happen in other districts and things don't move that quickly! So, I'm wondering if he admitted it? After all, the newpapers are reporting that it was reported by a fellow employee. This employee must have seen it first hand. Some of you are saying it could have been an innocent tap or hug… yes, true, but I find it hard to believe that a fellow employee would think it was worth reporting if it was just a "hug". You know? But, again, as a fellow teacher in the district, I believe he is innocent until proven guilty.
I didn't know Mr. Mahoney, however, I have heard of the many great things he has done in the district regarding Accelerated Reader (A.R.). Do you know that he would even read books and take quizzes on them then report his score, with print-out in hand, to prove it to his students. From what I have heard, he is a great teacher and truly cared about his students academic success. He wanted to inspire each of them to reach for the stars… Such a shame this has happened.

I have not heard of any other people coming forward with the same allegations, and judging by the overwhelming support Mr. Mahoney has here on the brokencountry, I would be willing to bet that the allegations are untrue. I have met Mr Mahoney several times and from what I have seen, he is full of life and will have a conversation with anyone. I have seen him around children, and he is so amazing with how much care he has towards them. He was actually my friend's kids' teacher and I hear nothing but praise from the children and their parents. He completely changed their lives and they love reading so much and going to school.
It's so sad that a teacher's kindness can be seen as something so bad. I agree that male teachers have it so much harder. I have seen female teachers hugging their students and no one says anything, but if a male teacher does it, parents become "suspicious." It is so sad that parents are offended by him sending their children postcards or inviting them to the after-school program. This shows how ignorant some parents are. They do not realize that not every teacher goes above and beyond to make it easier for a child to love education. He did not just send postcards to a certain student, he sent them to almost all of his students! He spent his OWN money for those postcards, and he didn't just buy one or two, he probably bought at least 100 to send to many students. His programs also helped children be more involved with educational activities. Parents should get take the chance to get to know their child's teachers. If they met and were more involved in his class, they would have no doubts of the kind of person he is and how he would not harm a child.
Mr Mahoney is a friendly teacher, and that is why his children love him so much. Hopefully he is found innocent, because I honestly do not think he is guilty of the charges against him. He has too much love and dedication for the children, and it would be too difficult to see that taken away from him. He is an amazing teacher and FUSD should be working on supporting him for all the hard work and dedication he had for them. He has made a great difference for Date School, without him this school will stop shinning.

To what I am reading it was that the children that talked to the principal, and it was the principal who took action. I'm also hearing that the so called incident happened back in December and it wasn't reported until last Monday. Several news papers have different versions of the story though. I also heard it was a parent complaint also.
To what I know Mahoney has denied all of it and has pleaded not guilty. I myself have suspicion of the children involved in this. There are just too many details being left out to determine things.
Either way… He is a teacher in Fontana Unified School District. Judging from their past mistakes I see this ending bad no matter what. He is now in a lose-lose situation because of the quick actions taken.
Our best bet now is to get as many teachers, parents, students and former students as possible to give support.
Sadly, I don't believe those parents will understand. They will believe in their children over the teacher. We don't know the full story at this time. What I want to know is how did they interview the girls… who reported what… if any of these "victims" are friends, what is their track record… their grades, discipline, etc.
To the school I know they will take anything they say seriously… By the sounds of it they took everything the girls said to be real. A thing I should point out is that if these kids are in 4th grade that doesn't mean they know what is considered inappropriate touching… in fact… you would be surprised by what some kids know.
So he has a bad love life. So what? He still has rights and he still deserves a proper investigation, which is what I believe the case is lacking.
The whole point of this post is not to tell lies… in fact if you clearly read the post it is about him being accused of molestation and being sent to jail. It is just information… and this is something that was in every major newspaper in the Inland Empire. There are going to be supporters of Mahoney, and there are going to be people against him such as yourself obviously.

He was and is a Great ,Terrific person and teacher clark Mahoney has made a differents in FUSD as a teacher and a true professional hes love for teaching has inspired many lifes like my daughter and myself ,I WILL SUPPORT HIM AND ARE PRAYERS ARE WITH HIM AND HIS FAMILY !!! I taught first grade for THIRTY years at the same public school in an east bay district and choose remain impartial.
I always kept my classroom door open during recess and never allowed less than three kids in the room. It's unfortunate….but true that an accusation requires a denial which assumes an incident occurred. Unfortunately there is a grey area to these situations. I don't know this teacher but I also doubt there is an occurrance of outright pedophelia.
Still, there should be no allowance for bad judgement….even though I wiped noses, zipped unzipperable pants (with other teachers present), hugged hurt kids, and had the confidence of every family of every 650 + students I had betweeen 1976 – 2006. My experience is that wierdos and incompetent get exposed and washed out pretty early…but caution, circumspection, and common sense need to be applied.
He always had something positive and funny to say to kids as soon as they said “Hi, Mr. Mahoney” I believe he is innocent and he is just being a target because he plays with kids a lot and gives attention to all kids. Not fair at all.
Mr. Mahoney is a great teacher who cares so much about kid’s education and the involvement of the parents. Pray for the truth to come out instead of you judging him. And for those of us, who believe in his innocence, speak up and help him leave that ugly place where he’s at right now. Ask someone at school how can you help and who you need to talk to.
Yeah, now everybody “knows” who Mr. Mahoney is, right? How come nobody took the time to check out all the things he did for FUSD and for Date before? He has done so much for the district and most of all for Date. If parents would just take the time to know their children’s teacher then they would not be as confused as they are right now , and saying he’s guilty of such accusations. All these nice and positive comments about Mr Mahoney – don't matter to the school administration or the police. It depends on what the VICTIM'S say happened — not whether you think he is a nice guy or good teacher! Get a clue! Forwarding these supportive comments to the school district is worthless!
Well aside from that… it does give a sense of more need of investigation. I mean clearly the more people know about this the more that this case needs to be looked into further.
Believe me, I have seen this before… What makes this whole thing suspicious is how quickly things progressed and how quickly Mahoney was arrested.
For me… it is not that I think he is nice or a good teacher. I know it since I had him as a teacher, and I'm a friend of his. I'll follow my beliefs and will work on gathering as much people that know Mahoney as possible… that way… more people know and more people can speak out. Relying on simply the district or the police is pointless in my own opinion.
That's what you think. The victim/s should know what kind of person Mr. Mahoney is. They should know that the only thing Mr. Mahoney cares about is for them to succeed in school and through out their education. Is not that we think, he is a great teacher and these people are just taking advantage of him being nice to everyone.
Let me start this off by saying that I know Mr. Mahoney from classes we took together at UCR, I have visited his classroom and I truly hope that Mr. Mahoney is innocent for all involved. But people should not be dismissive towards children that were not the ones who reported this molestation. As a fellow teacher I am a mandated reporter. If a child comes to me and says a teacher did this or that, I am not the one to make a judgment call. I am suspicious of many things here as well, but to be arrested, removed from the classroom and jailed there must have been sufficient evidence that the police found to justify it. FUSD is not the police and vice-versa. FUSD was just following protocol, they did not arrest the man. When a teacher is arrested of course they are going to suspend him. When a situation is reported, of course the principal is going to report it. Internal investigations are for Cardinal Roger Mahony. Only Mahoney and the students involved really know if this is a witch hunt or not. Just because someone was his student and he did not molest them does not make him innocent either. Good teachers have done bad things. Again, I pray this is not the case. If you believe he is truly innocent, write support letters to the courts, find out who his defense lawyer is, call Fontana Teachers Association who surely will at some point have info about his defense and ask them how you can bolster it. I only have my gut feeling, and that I will publicly reserve because I was not there.

Naw… just consider that a good ol'Fontana education. You would be surprised how some kids at FOHI spell… I know… I used to tutor a few of them.
Some of the students said he was hiding when the police came, Lee Oswald also fled the scene.
His bail went from $250000. to $800000. within 2 days—somethings up.
Fontana Unified School District should be thankful for Mr. Mahoney, especially with it's high drop-out rates. Mr. Mahoney knows first hand, "Programs don't change kids – Relationships do." Kids are more apt to learn when they are engaged and feel connected…and sadly, while he developed a strong relationship and bond with his students that helped them excel academically, could it be that a few have turned this into something ugly? While true child molester are out they preying on our children, there are also countless instances of misguided children who make up lies or stories for attention or to cover up some other ugly factor in their life…only to realize years later they have ruined an innocent person's life forever…..only they were too scared of a kid to tell the truth because things spiraled out of control, and the lie got bigger and bigger and the pressure from their family left them no out…. and there didn't seem to be any way to save face. I pray for the two children, and I pray for Mr. Mahoney. Innocent until proven guilty, thankfully. But in the meantime a life is put on hold, and a mind is tormented.

Mr. Mahoney is an awesome teacher and friend of mine and my children. I have had several of my seven children in his class or stay for after school activities. There are many children and staff at Date Elementary that think very highly of him. People really shouldn't jugde ANYONE until they have a fair trial! Before this happened I would see people get accused of this on the news and think what a pervert, but you know what I will NEVER judge someone like that again! It's very hard when it happens to someone you know and you think this can't be true because you've known him for many years and know he is truley a teacher that teaches because he loves his job and the children.

I am a former student i had plenty of other cousins who had him as a teacher and in no way i believe these accusations. IF it wasn't for him i would not have been good in school as i was…he was my teacher for 2yrs…I would punch those kids that accused him and their parents! GO MAHONEY!!!! i believe in you!!!!
Mr Mahoney is a caring, dedicated, incredible human being. People start making comments based on speculations and rumors. People who have never met or dealt with Mr. Mahoney are expressing their opinions without knowing what kinf of person he really is. My two daughters were in his class. One of them, will be graduating from high school this school year. She and her sister speak very highly of Mr. Mahoney and how he encouraged them to read and excell in their education. They learned so much in his class and above all he instilled their love for reading. My daughters love to read and they thanked Mr. Mahoney for being a great teacher. If you were an involve parent as you should be in your child's education, you would have seen what kinf of teacher/person he truly is. If you do not know the facts and the case is still under investigation, then I suggest to keep your negative comments to yourselves. Get involve at school, get to know your child's teacher, help your child get a good education so he or she could be somebody in this country. WE BELIEVE IN MR. MAHONEY!

I'm also an FUSD teacher and we as teachers should be shaking in our boots. Mahoney was "interrogated" not questioned by the officers, not only that he was denied representation while "questioned"! We as teachers have no rights when it comes to this… be aware of that, no FTA rep., no lawyer, not until your name is on the paper and your life ruined. Now the police are doing all of the things they should have done before they pulled the proverbial trigger. Shoot now and ask questions later! Mahoney is innocent and he will be proven innocent in the court of law!

It's true. If you are to be of any help to Mr. Mahoney, you should use your best writing to demonstrate what a good teacher he was and how much you learned.
I think it is natural for all the boy students to think the teacher pays more attention to the girls, and the girls think the teacher pays more attention to the boys. Welcome to the world of kids. I've been a teacher for almost 20 years, and they constantly accuse us of this!!!! (and I'm a female teacher) I don't think it matters if you are a male or female teacher.
You guys are awesome people, speaking out for the good of your former teacher. I hope your are able to defend his honor. Please follow through and contact his defense attorney. You can reach him through the Fontana Teacher's association (look this up in the phone book or call information) it may seen easy now while your emotions are high..but he will need you and your testimony most after time has past! All teachers appreciate students such as you!
Every male teacher should be "shaking in their boots." The same could happen to you on any given day, It doesn't matter that "it's not programs that change children….it's relationships" …you can't have one with your students…Mr. Mahony's situation is a perfect example. Go to work, teach your standards, then go home. Anything more and you could find yourself in the same situation. Caring could be misconstrued and twisted into something ugly. All it takes is one student, who conspires with one more…and your life will be ruined.

I hope he is innocent to, but come on why would these kids try to get even.? Mr. Mahoney is a "3rd" grade teacher, and I don't think "3rd" graders would try to get even. Why in the world would those kids make something up like that? They would'nt just go home one day and tell their parents they thier teacher touched them. You are being very ignorant Sir. I don't know any "3rd" grader that wants revenge with their teacher. These kids arn't demons or the devil's children. I know one of the kid's cousin and he told me that his cousin is not lieing, that she has nothing against Mahoney to be lieing about something as serious as this.
Mr. Mahoney is out on bail I believe and he has inclusively logged onto myspace. I personally think "If you can't do the time, don't do the crime" he should have known commiting a crime so serious would destroy his life and career. What was he thinking? that the kids wouldnt tell? Kids that age would not make something up like that, they are not concious about the consequences all they did was stand up for themselves and God knows how many others kids had this occured to. Maybe they were to scared to speak out, so im really glad these kids finally did.
His bail never shot up, also he wasn't hiding… that would have been reported. Such assumptions is quite childish to even believe.

Seriuosly, Really, Whomever you are before you make such statement why don't you get the facts first. Of course a mediocre student would never know how the after school program works, and dont give me "he invited girls to stay or he preferred girls over boys." I also have heard such statement several times. This is the thing. Before you even get an invitation to the after school program you have to have outstanding notes. Then you get invited and if there where more girls at such program is because girls are more intelligent. I have two of my daughters and they both attend the after school program you know why, Because they go every day to school because they have the best notes, because they are intelligent, because they have a father and a mother who care and get involved. Now let me ask you did you take advantage of all of the opportunities school offered you? Maybe, maybe not,. or at least it doesn't show on your statement. Do society a favor, go back to school and try to build a future for yourself, Learn how to read , how to write and how to use your brain. GOOD LUCK YOU ARE GOING TO NEED IT.
For all of the people who do not know who Mr. Clark Mahoney is.
I have known Mr. Mahoney for over 4 years already. He was my daughters teacher during Third grade and since then, they have been invited to the "Gifted and Taleneted Education Program G.A.T.E. Where Mr. Mahoney was the co-ordinator.
Mr. Mahoney was the most responsible and loyal teacher/friend one could have he goes beyond the definition of trustworthy and his generosity towards his fellow teachers and students is an example for everynoe to follow. He was such a great source of education to our children and a great source of education and inspiration for us the parents as well. It is sad to say he was. I have heard few bad comments about him and I have heard so many great comments about him. It is very obvious that the people who have made bad comments about him dont even know him. Parents who are confused Please get involved for the sake of your children. Get to know your kids and the people who are close to your kids before you judge someone. Remember that a teacher is in charge of your child during class and therefore they have to dicipline your children to. No one likes dicipline and for a kid is really easy to make up a story and get someone in trouble really easy. get to knoy your children, have a lot of communication with them at all times. Get involved in there education. It is sad that Mr. Mahoney has to go through what his going through. I dont know a lot of details about about the case but in my mind I have no doubt that he is innocent we pray to God for his well being. The system is in place and at the end we have no doubt that he is going to be found innocent of what he has being accussed of. and when this happen we pray to God that The school district, the police, the court, the newspapers and the internet do whatever is neccessary to restore his reputation. He is a great man.
