From The Smoking Gun.

JANUARY 23–Add heroin to the scores of products that have been branded with President Barack Obama’s name. Cops in upstate New York this week broke up a drug ring that allegedly sold heroin under several brand names, including “Obama.” As seen in Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office photos, the president’s surname was stamped in red ink on small glassine wrappers that were peddled by street dealers. Investigators arrested five suspects for their alleged roles in the narcotics distribution activity. The branding of illicit drugs is a favorite of pushers, who have previously sold bin Laden heroin, Harry Potter Ecstasy, bricks of Teletubbies cocaine, and green-tinted crack in recognition of St. Patrick’s Day.

Here we go again ! Once more as I have predicted in some of my more recent articles, the Democrats are going to do exactly as I have said and move into the “What the President says” mentality. Furthermore, they seem to be drinking the same kool aide as the Democratically lead house and senate did under Bill Clinton and what the Republican lead house and senate did under G.W. Bush.

This is the political equivalent of handing the keys of congress to the opposing party. I guess our elected officials on both sides of the isle don’t understand that the vast majority of Americans like the system of checks and balances. We don’t want absolute power in Washington.

It’s pretty clear that Congress was lost to the democrats because people were tired of President Bush simply getting his way all the time. Historically speaking, it’s down right obvious that the American voter thought that Bill Clinton and his agenda with regard to his democratically lead Congress was not the direction that this country should be heading. So in each instance, they gave control back to the opposing party.

Like the tsunami that Bill Clinton rode into Washington on, President Obama is surfing on that same wave. Believe me when I say this. President Obama is already talking like a left wing radical. He is already floating the dreaded “universal healthcare” trial balloons. He is closing down Gitmo. He is moving to end our war on terror. It won’t be too long before people take a shower and rinse off the Obama pixie dust and come to their collective senses. It usually happens right after the sitting President’s first year in office.

Personally I don’t think a year is long enough, but at the same time if you wait any longer than a year you almost can’t repair the mess that these elected idiots create. This is what happened to Bill Clinton and it happened again to G.W. Bush. The power has to be balanced and the American public understands this.

When I say “American Public” I mean the thinking man that votes even at the local municipal elections, not the idiots that go out to vote because MTV and BET tells them too. The MTV crowd is too immersed in self indulgence to get involved in every election. The rest need to have a reason disguised as a crisis to get involved in the system.

At the end of this year regardless of the economy, you will start to hear the rumblings of the mob. By the middle of next year the rumbling will turn into an earthquake. By the time the 2010 election comes and the keys to congress are given over to the Republicans, President Obama will be forced to come to his senses.

It will be att that point annd time that President Obama will become a good President. The same kind of President that Bill Clinton became. A president tempered by an objective congress. A president that will be forced to listen to the will of the people. Bill Clinton knew it. George Bush Knew it. And soon Barack Obama will know it too. JD
