Montebello High School Flies the Mexican Flag

This should be the one that pisses you people off. This is what we are up against here in Los Angeles. Montebello High School in Montebello California. This action was condoned by the staff of this high school. I want you all to take a close look at what the hispanics here in Los Angeles think of America. We fund their education and they shit on us. They are wiping their collective asses with our flag and sucking our country dry, and this is the thanks we get. I say to arms, to arms. This is an outright act of treason and all involved should be FLOGGED and run out of this country on a rail. There was a time and a day where these actions would have been a hangable offense. Lets get back to basics. Also note the size of most of these teenagers. Future diabetics to be sure.

One more question I would ask of all of you pro ILLEGAL ALIENS right organizations ….. If Mexico is such a great country, and the United States sucks so bad, then WHY ARE YOU PEOPLE FIGHTING SO HARD TO STAY HERE? JD

This is an insult to American values this is very anti American and pro Mexican how about deporting them back to Mexico if they so proud hahaha i don’t think they would want that
MEXICANS HAVE TAKEN OVER LOS ANGELES
THE MAJORITY ARE HERE ILLEGALLY AND AMONG THE MAJORITY WHO ARE HERE                   ILLEGALLY SOME WERE BROUGHT HERE AT A YOUNG AGE
THE SECOND MAJORITY ARE FIRST GENERATION BORN WHICH MOST OF THESE             STUDENTS MAY BE (born here to illegal immigrant families)
THE LEAST MAJORITY ARE CHICANO MEXICAN AMERICAN
Los Angeles is doing nothing to crack down Los Angeles is an open invitation city        to illegal Mexicans and other Hispanics mostly from central america
RESULT higher population more traffic and pollution more crime more signs put up in Spanish public transit is completely bilingual very difficult to find jobs in certain fields and for many jobs there is a requirement to be bilingual English /Spanish to communicate with the illegals
WHENEVER A POLITICIAN SAYS ENOUGH IS ENOUGH AND TRY TO SUBMIT A                   BILL TO CRACK DOWN ON ILLEGAL BORDER CROSSINGS THESE IMMIGRANTS GO OUT AND PROTEST WAVING THEIR MEXICAN FLAGS AND THEY PLAY THE RACE CARD
DO YOU THINK AS AN AMERICAN CITIZEN YOU CAN DO IN MEXICO WHAT ILLEGAL MEXICAN IMMIGRANTS ARE DOING HERE IN THE U.S.A ? HELL NO
MEXICO WOULD KILL YOU OR DEPORT YOU RIGHT AWAY YOU COULD NOT PLAY                   THE RACE CARD IN MEXICO AND JUST IMAGINE IF YOU RAISED A AMERICAN FLAG ABOVE AN UPSIDE DOWN MEXICAN FLAG IN MEXICO YOU WOULD BE LUCKY TO MAKE IT ALIVE
OUR GOVERNMENT NEEDS TO STOP THIS

Though I am Mexican myself, I don’t agree with what these students did.
I find it completely disrespectful. I mean, I understand that they want to show pride for their country but this is NO way to go about it.
But I also think it’s completely racist to say that all Mexicans are like this. I was brought here when I was two years old. I recently graduated from high school and am attending college to have a better life, eventually. And I find it really irritating to read all these comments about people saying to go back to Mexico and what-not. THINK before you post your ignorant comments. Please and thank you(:

Hi, I'm Mexican but was raised in the USA. I've lived here more years than i have in Mexico. I hung around with black ppl, white ppl, hispanics etc. I love my culture and respect the US constitution. So much as to almost join the army, untill I looked at all the corruption going on behing close doors. I can't dismiss it as conspiracy because of all the evidence, sometimes you got to look between the lines and not listen so much to mainstream meadia wich does not cover or does not want to cover the truth. I don't like to judge but istead of all the cursewords and hatred we need to focus on better things than argue with one another while more important stuff goes on without our knowledge. Like did you know that the denver mint, minted a north american union coin called the amero? sounds familiar? it sounds like euro to me, and smells like the same people that planned the euro are now planning the amero, dont know maybe I'm wrong but instead of wondering we should have our facts strait so we know the truth. Just look at the corruption in europe, you won't see it on the news but thanks to sites like youtube, facebook etc. we are able to comunicate much faster than it was possible, but it seems no one wants to talk about it becase it is not the hot topic on mtv hollywood or even the media. So if anyone wants to add me as a friend on facebook my e-mail is newnoticias@hotmail.com I have some info about it. I just started this to inform the people, both Mexicans and Americans. i added the Canadian flag as this NAU includes Canada. Please spread the word and Please (if you can) copy and paste this (info) in any blogger site you can. Thank you and GOD bless Mexico and the USA.

  4. Im only 12 dont bother me its only my opinion

Mexican people arnt bad. Mexican people are like any other human being in this world. They have feelings and reason just like Americans, Europeans, Africans ect …. life is hard in Mexico, and if it wasnt for the corruption in the Mex government Mexico could very well be able to make the leap into modern life. If the Mexican leaders of our country gave us everything we needed, the need to migrate iligaly into another country would be non existent because we have nothing to lose, thats why some of us fight so hard to stay here in america because it gives us so much freedome and help and on top of that we are greatful. In my opinion who ever wrote this artical is very ignorant, The USA is a country based on imigration so I dont know why he tells other people to go back when he is just another person who could well have family from Europe generations before. And no one is telling him to go back. Now if thier is people who are disrespectful, yes thier will be its because of poverty, mal treatment and bad raising havits from their parents before, but it does not mean everyone is bad im guessing the reason why mexico and its people are seen as something terrible is because all that is seen in “some” communities like  LA, is gangs and bandalism from latinos and most likely Mexican because Mexico is right under USA on the map.

It is sad that those Mexicans, not all but so many of them, are lagging behind in evolution. Maybe that is why Mexico, as a whole country, cannot make the leap out of their comfort zone to into modern civilization. The sad thing is that alot of them seem to be content with being that way

hey Vivo, you are a disgrace and a dirty little mexican POS. you should go back to your fucking country where you belong. i would be disgusted to be of Mexican descent if i wasn’t proud to be a Mexican-American and show it as many others do. People like you have no good being in the U.S. If the U.S. is so fucking bad, why do all you mother fuckers keep jumping our borders? Second, if ur country is so fucking great, why don’t you just go back and fuck urself over there. ;)

  11. Vivo

I’m not blind, I could read. I wish I was there to Slaute the flag, doesn’t matter who raised it, it’s a statement and a sign of respect.

  12. elitelady3

As stated before, the students who put up the Mexican flag were from a H.S in Pico Rivera. They tried to storm our campus. Being that we were on lock-down, NONE of our students were involved.

  13. Vivo

Way to go! That Mexican Flag looks good flying high over an upside down terrorist flag. Remember you racists out there, “what goes around, comes around”, and the Mexicans are coming back after th White (racist) Americans unsuccessfully tried to remove them permanently from their native land. And I’m proud to say that I am a 2001 Montebello High School graduate, not a drop out, but a graduate of Mexican descent ;)

You're an ASSHOLE and I'm putting it mildly, why don't you just leave this country and find a home where you can be happy…

After reading your email, I must admit, I was taken aback. I hoped that my comment was a way to voice my opinion without being accusatory or overly offensive to anyone (referring to you or the others who commented). However, I must say that I am a bit bothered that you would begin an email with the statement that I should be ashamed of myself.

I did not accuse anyone of being a racist. The group I was referring to was the group of Montebello High School students who had nothing to do with the incident and were being accused of not loving this country. Although the fact that the website does focus on a Latinos has not escaped my attention, I was commenting on the specific article I had read. I am someone who does not think that angry words really gets anything done. I prefer disscussion…I guess that’s the teacher in me. I was only saying my piece about the misappropriation of facts as far as who was involved in that incident.

In regards to your views on problems in Los Angeles County being about the element of Latino gang members…I believe that poverty and ignorance breed poor ignorant people (ie. people living in the “ghetto”) Fact is, the problems in this county are socio-economic. Ghettos are created when the people living there have less access to education and upward mobility. I don’t know if you have traveled, but I have family in middle America and I assure you, the poor white neighborhoods look just as bad as the black and latino ones.
People who are treated like second class citizens being to feel helpless and angry and do what they have to do survive or be heard.

No argument from me that there are some stupid people in this world who were raised badly and have no respect for anyone. However, I have known people of all colors and backgrounds who fit this criteria. My experiences in college have opened my eyes to upper-class kids who do far more damage to public property and tax-payer’s funds, however, I would never accuse “rich” kids of being all horrible, indulgent jerks…that would be generalizing my experiences to cover people I have never met.

I do read the newspapers and I also know the history of my state. The idea that what we read about or watch on the evening news being non-baised or objective is laughable…being an establishment run by people who are trying to make money, the word objective does not apply. And to be fair, most people see what they want to see…I can’t tell you how many times when I get cut off on the freeway, the person driving is “always” Asian. (And sadly, I find myself actually thinking that to myself seriously) This is, of course, silly and predjudical.

I too am of Italian ancestry. Although in the past, Italian immigrants were seen as the criminal element, I know, as I’m sure you do, that my culture has nothing to do with crime or some lack of morality. A few Italians were doing some bad shit, and the whole group was pegged for it. Maybe it is just that the ethnic newcomers were seen as different and strange, maybe not, but the fact that my ancesters were treated like they were second class in recent history forces me to think twice before treating another culture the same. I am not a person who is narrow minded. I am not a bigot. I did not swear or yell or make foul comments about the white man, because I am considered white. But I am someone who is in the trenches, trying to make a differnce and educate these kids who are here. And by the way, in 5 years, only about 5% of the kids I’ve come into contact with were “illegal” from both Latin American and Asia. Those tended to be my most respectful and hard-working students. The 3rd and 4th generation kids – the ones who are from generationally poor families – have been the most difficult to work with. BUT I don’t just cast any kid aside. As an American, it is my duty to make an effort to better this land and the lives of the people in it. I have found in my years of teaching that the things I thought to be true, once I look closer, seldom are and that every situation has another side to it that is equally right and justified.

I hope that I have not outraged you in responding to this letter. But in truth, I feel like you were accusatory towards me a few times and I wanted to explain my position. I hope that you can read my comments and think about them as I have read that thought about yours. I don’t think I can change your mind, but maybe you can just understand where I was coming from.

    Teacher 96

  15. Teacher 96, So you are a teacher at the high school in question? You should be ashamed of yourself. First, for making the assumption that I am somehow attack just one group on my site. You are not seeing the entire website. You are simply seeing what you want to see. You can’t possibly be dumb enough to deny the problems in and around Los Angeles County that are created by the hispanic “culture.” I know it happens, but how often do you see grafitti that says “surfs up dude” or “white people rule!” ??? On the other hand, how many public restrooms do you see where the mirror has been removed because of hispanic gang members scribing their nonsense into the glass? How many toilet seats (stained with urine) do you see with grafitti scribed into them? How many buildings and freeway signs do you see that are defaced and have to be replaced or repainted at the taxpayers expense?

I would invite you to do as I have done. Start a few Google alerts on the “Google News” page and use this search criteria: ” gang member White caucasian members” and another with the words ” gang member hispanic latino mexican” and you will see the disparity between the two races and the problems they create. Not a day goes by that I don’t read my Google News alerts and without fail, the one describing “white” gets maybe one article a week and the one regarding “hispanics” contains literally dozens a day.

It’s painfully obvious when you look at the vast majority of the inmates in the California Correctional system. There is a reason for this. It is the criminal element in the latino community. It seems to me that most latinos want the rest of America to turn a blind eye to their lawlessness. Well I for one refuse, and trust me, there are more like me. Many more.

I would end with this. It wasn’t this way when I was a kid. Now I know that times change and people change. My own cultural roots are italian. There were and still are a lot of italians that are up to know good. The Federal Government created the “RICO” laws to put them in prison where they belong. Yet anytime the powers that be go after latino gang members or illegal aliens, the hispanic community screams “racism.” I’m sure after reading your comment that you too believe that I am a racist. Thats because of your own narrow minded bigotry.

I will give you this. At least you don’t open by typing in CAPS and using foul language. I do appreciate that. And I appreciate you taking the time to comment. Feel free to exchange your thoughts with me anytime.

I am a teacher at Montebello High School and just wanted to set the record straight. I had a bird’s eye view of what happened regarding the flags.

First of all, the students who put up the Mexican flag were from a H.S in Pico Rivera. They tried to storm our campus. Being that we were on lock-down, NONE of our students were involved.

Second of all, the school did not condone this action at all. The principal and other members of the staff did our best to try and stop the situation. However, the “visiting” students were extremely disrespectful and threw objects at us while some even tried to break down the fences which separated our campus from them.

And lastly, although some of the students had no problem with the disrespect given towards the US flag, MOST of our students, who have ancestral ties to Mexico, were extremely offended by this action. ESPECIALLY those students whose immediate families were immigrants to this country.

In my MANY years of experience working in the Latino community, I have found that only a small percentage of people fall into the catagory of the types of people highlighted in this website’s articles. There are people who are disrespectful to this country of all creeds and colors. Even “born” Americans can be ignorant of this country’s laws and mores. Placing the blame on a group that I expect most who post here are not in direct contact with is best described as ignorant.

I am proud of my students and of the community I teach in.

  17. Pandora666

Ok first of all if anyone had bothered to do their homework the students who changed the flag were not even from Montebello High School, they were from a rival school blending in with the montebello students who peacefully protesting. Also, the school would not just stand for this because the principle is a hard-ass and he would not allow this, and the students their are very respectful to that school. And if any one bothered to ever take a history course California was part of Mexico before the fucking white man came and took the land from them and native indians.

  18. ProUSA

    Dear Mexican Movement Advocates,

Please answer these questions right here in this post:

    1. Why can’t you make a decent life for yourself in your own country run by Mexicans?
    2. Aren’t you over here because your WHITE EUROPEAN UNCLE is helping you prosper?
    3. Are you waving the Mexican flag because you wish Mexico was more like the US?

Let’s face it, Mexico is a great country to live in if you are rich and the US is a great country to live in if you are rich or poor.

But if wish to disrespect your host, please continue to raise the US flag upside-down with the Mexican flag prominently displayed above it.

Because only BROWN-BELLY cowards wave the US flag when their real intention is to wave the Mexican flag.

    Sincerely,

    ProUSA

  22. wdreid

I can’t believe this school would allow this! Are they afraid of these people or what? I think is is crap that they think they are above the law, because the law won’t do anything to stop them. Where are all these anti illegal immigration people minutemen or whatever they want to be called, are they afraid of these people too! It can’t be just one person we all have to stand up for what we believe in. Or they will soon take over just as they are trying to do!! We need to write to our congressmen and flood them with emails letters whatever it takes to stop this stuff, before it is to late.

  23. wdreid

And to hang the American flag upside down just mean your are fucking morons that have no respect for anything.

  24. wdreid

This is pretty fucking sick this is america go hang your flag where you belong in Mexico to me it does not sound like you people are trying to make a better life for yourselves, your just screwing up the u.s. WITH YOUR BULL SHIT.

    • angelo

you know everyone is true. but that said dosent mean that all mexicans are like this. so before you rudly put or race down, think before you type.

      • American Citizen

Angelo – Maybe not ALL – but the majority are sure causing a lot of shit that doesn't belong in America – if you are here LEGALLY then act like an American – if not then get your sorry ass back where you belong… Enough is enough, time to take back this great country!!

    • Larry

I believe that this should be considered an act of terrorism, or a declaration of war! I remember when it was against the law to disrespect the flag in any way! What happened?
