So after all the hype, after all the publicity about how Brokeback Mountain was going to be a cinch to win the Oscar for best picture, After all the Golden Globe victories for Ang Lee, the director of this load of shit, Brokeback Mountain doesn’t even crack the top ten movies of the holiday week. To date it has made only 7.9 million dollars. Ironically enough, it has only been released in “69″ theater’s nationwide. I predict that this film will not break forty million dollars. No one wants to watch a chick flick about gay cowboys. Men, if you let your wives/girlfriends talk you into taking them to this politically correct pabulum, you may as well be castrated.

No I am not a homophobe. No I do not think gays are paving the road to hell. I just think that when you cater to people that make up less then two percent of our society that you are asking for trouble. Honestly, how many gay people do you know? I only know one. Now I know that I don’t frequent the gay Mecca’s of America like San Francisco, but I have been down to the gas lamp district in San Diego when my sister in law was doing her internship at a local hospital. I must say that even in this so called gay community there were a lot more straight people there then gay people. I would guess that the straight people out numbered the gay people by about four to one.

I have discussed this issue with my gay friend and he seems to think that a lot of people that claim they are gay are actually posers trying to jump on the bandwagon. He claims to know a few of these people and he tells me that they come to the gay clubs and play the part, but when “push comes to shove” they go home alone.

My point here is this. Brokeback Mountain was made by Ang Lee to get press for Ang Lee. Apparently Mr. Lee likes to think of himself as “cutting edge”. Personally I hope this piece of shit falls flat. It wouldn’t surprise If it wins the Academy Award for best picture. If it does win its only because the people that work in Hollywood are terrified that people might think they are not politically correct. From what the reviewers say the movie actually does suck …. er no pun intended. So once “Brokeback” goes wide with distribution we will see if it has legs…. again no pun intended.

My humble opinion is this is just another attempt to try and make our children believe that homosexuality is “normal” behavior. For the record there is nothing normal about it. ALL of earths animals have sexual organs so they can reproduce. Human beings are the only animal that uses it’s sexual organs for pleasure. You never see dogs mate just for the fun of it, although I do have some friends that have male dogs that would hump a tree branch if you’d let ‘em. A man can’t make a child with another man. A woman can’t make a child with another woman. Anybody that thinks it is normal is just plain stupid.
